S14 Rear Ball joint question, yet again.

I searched and found numerous posts arguing that you can use S14 front ball joints as replacements for the rears. Has anyone actually done this, and measured to see if they are the same.

I need new ones in the rear and dont want to given Nissan 5 bills for RLCA's for the sake of ball joint replacement. I dont intend to drift the car, its mostly a DD. Some drag racing.

B12 ball joints are what everyone says to use. There's a 2page thread on the front page.

Use S14 front ball joints on the rear of the S14 (41mm)
Use B12 (not B13) Sentra front ball joints on the rear of the S13 (38mm)

I've done both and they work and it's not a rumor.

would the b12 ball joints be from the front or the back of the b12? Or is it solid axle in the rear? thanks
