I'm new to the forums (obviously) and have finally managed to purchase my first 240sx. Great car to start with because:
1. I know shit about cars.
2. It's pretty f*ckin broken, needs a lot of work.
3. I don't mind being flamed while learning.
4. I LOVE 240s. Will always have one till the day I die.
Anyway... There's a lot to learn around these forums and I'm here to search around and figure stuff out on my own... the problem is..
WHERE THE HELL DO I WORK ON MY CAR???
I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and have a parking space that has nowhere near enough room to work on my shit...
I live in Hollywood, does anyone know any garage's that are newb friendly or suggestions on what I should do when it comes to gettin' down and dirty? (On my vehicles guys.) I just moved here from Seattle and I don't have any friend's places I can just go and work on my shit, and the friends I do know aren't really into cars... so...
Does anyone have any wisdom to share?
Thanks.
No worries on the flaming, I know I'm new!

Some options:
1) Move to a place with a garage
2) Get a storage place and work on your car there
3) Find some friends who would allow you to work in their garage
I know you just moved from Seattle, not sure how long you've been here, but just mingle at meets and wallah (whatever wallah may be)!
Where is the B and ><>< /// things coming from? lol

blasting_speed: lol thanks, I will do. but if anyone else has any suggestions for the love of it I'm still open ears (or... eyes?)
... as for now, i will go check out that awesome link. :D Thanks for the support bro.
TravisSW: Thanks man, I've never been to meets before and that seems to be the suggestions so I'll take note and that too and start scouring or wallah'ing the forum for em :D. and thanks for the storage space idea, i've never even thought about that.
... and i'm used to scripting (b = bold) what not, anyway i don;t think thats how they do things anymore so yeah... i'll get used to the new forum ways haha

If you're anywhere near Torrance. There is a meet with a bunch of S-Chassis guys that happens every Wednesday. You'll find it here in this section. As the ''310 SouthBay.....'' something something meet. Post some questions there and they'll help you.

Everywhere but here. Most new people would have posted this in Chat or Off Topic.

Oh ya, I'll let you know about this.
There is usually a drift event every month that's hosted by "carparthookup" (JXN). Located at WSIR (Willow Springs International Raceway).
100-120 to drive on the usual events and 10 bucks to watch and there are usually BBQs there. Check the motor sports section or the 626 website.

Hell, work on your car at the drift events lol.
I'm surprised on how nice everybody is being atm! :D
