And some other stuff I'm sure I'm forgetting...
I bought the car in November of '07 with 83k miles. I needed something well built and reliable for a 2500 mile drive to and from California (Thats 5,000 miles of pure highway driving!). I put a custom Magnaflow Exhaust on since then. I've performed all oil changes with Royal Purple 5W-30, with exception to the last using the highly recommended Lubro-Moly brand. I did a full brake service (NEW OEM Pads, Rotors, and Flush) soon after purchasing. Tires are at 85% tread life. I keep the tires rotated and filled with Nitrogen. I have never had any problems with the car and you would never guess that it's a near decade old car by the way it runs. It will get up to 27mpg around town. If regular maintenance isn't enough, I put just as much effort into cleaning it too!
The paint is still immaculate minus a couple scuffs on the passenger side side-skirt and rear valence. I try hard to keep it waxed on a normal basis. Outside top condition is great, although the window is starting to fade (hard thing to avoid here in Florida). You can get a replacement window from "emiata" for ~$130, but it just doesn't bother me that much to replace it. I'd rate the dash, carpet, and other misc. trim at an 10/10. The carpet has no stains or rips. There are a few downsides though. The leather on the driver seat, center arm rest/drivers door panel, and rear bench are becoming worn. The rear bench is the worse with a few splits in the sun worn leather. The automatic top will go up and down, but it sometimes hits on the storage lid so it requires some manual assistance to operate. The headliner/inner top-portion has fabric separating (Not ripping!) at the dog ears. The car has the Harmon Kardon Sound system, but there are a couple of blown speakers. The bright side is that it includes a Harmon Kardon powered subwoofer and 6-disc CD changer.
I have reflected any issues in the sale price. KBB lists this car in fair condition at ~$8800, and this car is just a step below GREAT. You wouldn't catch half the things I mentioned if they werent brought to your immediate attention. Those who have seen it in person can vouch. I am located in Sarasota, FL. Please PM me with any questions or offers. More pictures to interested buyers. We can set up shipping if need be...
