I finally got my car back after the install. I also had the car dyno'ed.

Mods are all the typical bolt on stuff everything else is stock; MAF, Injectors, and ECU. Dyno Dynamics, 93 oct.

Just wanted to share in my excitement.

Not bad at all and I love the cleanliness of your engine bay. Now take her to the track and get some times from the track too.

Good #'s for stock!

FWIW, I dyno'd at 242HP and 248TQ on a SR20DET T25 @ 14lbs with a front mount and exhaust. Stock everything else.

Nice.

Stock exhaust or 3" all the way? or is EVERYTHING stock.

In any case, nice ride, very nice engine bay, and nice numbers.:bigok:

And you're not running 14PSI because????? You have a friggen FMIC, crank the boost up on that tiny turbo then go dyno it..

^x2.

Also, that engine bay is really really clean...

I want a new spark plug cover, haha.

Thanks everyone. I plan on getting everything adjusted again in the near future, so that I can run 14psi. That was just a quick and dirty adjustment.

Go Fast List:
Blitz FMIC
Apexi Racing Intake
Tomei Outlet Pipe
Greddy Downpipe
HKS 85mm Exhaust
HKS Actuator
Sard FPR with Gauge
Walbro FP

That's about it. FWIW this would be roughly 250ish on a dynojet.

Cheers!

Yeah the shop that did the install was top notch. Brad @ Enginelogics is a genius but don't tell him that :D

Nice,

Dude, you GOTTA tell me where you got that battery tie-down!!!

Is the floor modified to make it fit or what? Let me know!

Not sure, I hadn't really noticed. I'll snap a few pics tonight and post it up so you can get a better idea of it.

What are you going to tune it with? AFC?
Are you using a Greddy Profec B?

when i had my t25. i had a stock smic, and 3" exhaust all the way with stock turbo elbow.
on dynapacks i made 232HP and 220TQ at 10.5 psi. i thought i had it at 14 but went in with the wrong setting haha.

Tuner recommends either AEM or Autronic. I'll probably go with the AEM.

No boost controller, just using the HKS actuator to control boost and of course a boost gauge to measure. It's probably why it was set at 10.5 max then tapers down.

Here is a better pic of the battery tie down. Looking at it, the original battery tray is still there. Looks like the shop cut a hole in the tray to run the IC piping, in that same hole the tie down is hooked. They other tie down is hooked in the factory location.

If I get a second tomorrow, I'll call the shop to see where they picked it up if you are interested. Let me know.

Good to hear! I need to bump up the boost a bit. It's plenty fast on the street as is.

Yeah man, def. gimmie some info on that, I keep getting hassled at the drag strip about not having a tie down so I need one.

That's a westco battery right?

Nice! Time for a bigger turbo or some cams and intake manifold so you flatten out and lengthen that torque curve!

Do cams if you do GT2871R.....I had this turbo for 2 years with no cams, and it is amazing, but after a while you get tired of the car feeling like it is losing power around 6000 RPM.....

I have cams and Greddy IM and now I feel like even in 3rd and 4th gear it pulls reall hard all the way to like 7500 RPM.

damn nice ass numbers that is def over 250whp on a dynojet. go out there and rape t25 ka-t's j/k, if you had 256 cams u can break 250whp on the dyno dynamics. whats the record for stock turbo s13 sr??

Those are really high numbers.

Baro correction will cause the DD to read high. I ran into this with a novice Dyno Dynamics situation when the user still wasnt used to setting up the weather station, they can ready super high. Seems about 10-15% higher than typical numbers for Stock Setup with the DD. Usually you will see 190 whp out of a stock SR with bolt ons.

Either way the power curve is super smooth, it looks like you lucked out and got a super clean and good motor, congrats on an excellent starting place!

Slap a 2871R and you should be at 265-275 whp, right around where you will be maxing your stock injectors at about 1 bar.

It's a nice feeling when your motor is running good like that. Congrats!

I don't think the numbers are super high, but will agree that the colder weather is playing a part in my current numbers as well as the 93 oct we use in Texas.

Thanks Steve!

Wanted to update my original post. I must say Steve I did have my doubts when you said my dyno was super high. Maybe it was my ego not wanting to believe you or my lack of understand on how temperature plays a major role with turbocharged cars. Anyway I hope this can be used as a reference for some people.

SR, T25, STI Inj, PF-C Jetro, 14psi, 93 oct, about 90 deg shop temp

this HP thing is like a drug, at first your happy, then you want more, more, and more until your converting your car to E85 to make higher #'s(along with other reasons) like me...
