Can i run a stock #62 ecu, on a redtop s13 sr with an s15 t28?

Basically this is going to be my setup until i get a little more cash.
S13 Sr20det w/s15 t28
370cc inj
fmic
n60 maf
rebuilt sr
stock ecu (not tuned)

Can i run with that around 14 psi, safely?

BTW Q45 MAF is Over Kill, Get a Z32 MAF

you have safc to run your q45 maf?? Also, 14 psi is a lot. i am running a s14 t28 from 8-10 psi and it runs rich, as in i can smell it rich. MAXing out your injectors. Dont risk it on your rebuilt sr bc it will be likely that your motor will be harmed if not blown. Not worth it, just let it at stock boost or maybe 8 psi until you get injectors and a tune. my .02 cent.

i was going to link sileighty 85 site, but he beat me to it. great information tho.

Okay. So ill just run the stock boost until i upgrade to 550cc injectors and ecu.

Sorry, im confused because i could remember if im buying the N60 MAf or the Q45 MAf from my buddy.

I will be running a N60 Maf.

you need to either safc, or ecu tune to run the new maf, i recommend running bigger injectors, or just wait til you can install everything together,

I was at ~12.2 AFRs at redline on an S14 SR with OEM ECU, Injectors, MAFS and Turbo @ 12.66 PSI.

Made 273WHP and 280WTQ.

I recommend running 8~10 PSI and upgrade your setup to support 14 PSI. However I felt that nearly 13 PSI was safe given you have similar AFRs to mine, starting out at 10.8 and leaning out to 12.2.

What kind of dyno were you using? I am not making anywhere close to that. I made 234/231 SAE corrected on my stock S14 SR with FMIC, HKS intake, 3" elbow, 3" cat, and Trust DD. That was on 12psi, on 14 I made ~248/245 SAE corrected...but that was on a Dyno Jet dyno...and my A:F is extremely unsafe at 14psi, 12psi is pretty sketchy still, so I've turned it down to 10-11psi.

A stock S13 SR with T28 shouldn't run more then 8-10psi MAX.

yeah you will need some sort of tune with those mods

you could run the turbo on low boost with the stock maf until you upgrade your whole setup... then the fun will begin :D
