S14 Zenki JDM Cluster....Help

Hey All,

I'm having an issue with my JDM S14 Zenki cluster.

Issue: Once car is turned on all the readouts are functioning correctly except for the tach. What happens is sometimes the tach works perfectly fine, then there are times where it just slowly creeps up until it can't go any further around and sits there then pops back. Now when it pops back sometimes it will work properly. However, there are times where it creates this cycle over again.

Can someone provide any insight with this issue?

I have a s14 with an S13 SR20DET Blacktop

Probly just the gauge cluster shitting out. I've replaced my cluster twice in my S14 and once in my R33. Twice because of the speedo and once because of the fuel guage. Just get a new cluster.

The tachs on S14's fail quite often.. My tach would just "jump" up and show the correct RPM, and other times it would be just dead.
You can get another gauge cluster, take out the tach and replace yours with it.
