I've done intake's on other cars but the 240 has so many vaccuum hoses it confuses me LoL. Anyway I bought this one off e-bay eBay Motors: 91 92 93 94 NISSAN 240SX 16V COLD AIR INTAKE FILTER KIT (item 190293439324 end time Mar-14-09 06:01:13 PDT) (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190293439324&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&viewitem=) All the piping looks like it'll fit perfectly but I can't figure out how to run the vaccuum hoses. Any advice would be great. For example what is the t fitting for? And the MAF adapter plug has a hole on it that is plugged right now. Is that for the hose that comes out of the black box on the driver side? Thanks in advance. I can't believe there weren't any instructions but what can you say it was mad cheap. O and what is that damn washer for. That makes no sense to me LoL. So far I got the MAF adapter connected to the MAF and the filter on but that's about as far as I got. By the way it's getting installed on a 91 240sx

Very true, if you cant install your own intake sell the car, for real dont be lazy figure it out... not hard just hook up all the lines that were on the intake before to the new intake, and wow, its done...

I've looked for an intake thread and can't find anything for s13s. And yes I know perfectly how the old intake works except that huge tube on the bottom that leads near the radiator but there's a sport for that. Which one of you guys actually have your 300zx e-brake hooked up anyway ;).

it's not the same hose setup. But I'll figure it out with my erector set pieces and do a write up just to spite you all. Where are all the knowledgeble people? it's not like a stupid question. It's just a weird vaccuum line setup. I mean if I can run 300zx brakes with the seperate e-brake and have a turboed KA a stupid NA intake shouldn't beat me.

It's a resonator. Cap it. All you need is the large IACV line. Everything else is shit.

I getcha. It wasn't the resonator though. What the kit did was connect the heater hose from the top of the motor to the bottom one and then into the intake. The hosing that came with it was junk so I'm going to swap that with some thicker hose that doesn't flex as much. I put the resonator hose on cause it was easy and right there. Still trying to get it to bolt down right but other than that it's working great. With my 3in exhaust and that I seem to have a slight shift in power from low end to top end.

There is no intake ever made for any cat ever that connects to heater hoses. Put down the pipe.
