Clearing up storage and looking to sell the lot of SR20 engines and parts I have sitting there. The main items are two complete short blocks: one black top S13 and one S15. Both of the engines were one of the first of their kind imported (got the black top back in '97ish, and the S15 around '01 or so), and although that's just useless trivia to most 240 people, it might mean something to someone who's looking to put the engines into a Datsun, for example. (The S13 motor, especially, has an interesting Datsun-related history that I can relate to the buyer if it mattered to them.) But other than for anecdotal reasons, the main advantage to these being such og motors is that they came out of very low-mileage cars, and are very sound. Both had less than 5,000km if I remember correctly. Unfortunately, since they've been sitting for so long, I'd still recommend at least a basic tear down and refresh before use. And they could both use a bit of cleaning up externally.

Also included in the lot are a bunch of other random SR20 parts... another block or two (if I still have the second one hidden somewhere), some heads, a couple intake manifolds, crankshafts, cams, water pumps, pullies, etc. Basically, I'm looking to sell the lot to a local person who's willing to just pay one price and come by and haul all the parts away so I can clear up the space. There's also a bunch of other random stuff I will throw in, such as some a/c compressors, brackets, ps pumps... anything else I can find between now and when the buyer comes by to grab everything. I should have some new bearings and gaskets, too...if I find them, you get them. If not, oh well...

I'm not 100% sure how much these parts are going for nowadays, so the number I'm thinking of off the top of my head is $1400 for the lot. I'm assuming that's more than fair, and whoever buys everything can probably sell off the parts they don't need and recoup most of that cost anyways. I'd rather not sell individual parts piece-meal, so if anyone wanted any particular components, I will most likely refer you to whoever ends up buying everything, and you guys can figure things out on your own.

Everything is located in Sunnyvale, CA, and the best thing to do is bring cash and come by with a truck... Here are some pics of the majority of the parts in this lot:

1) S15 DET intake manifold
2) S15 DET intake plenum (throttle body still attached)
3) S15 DET short block
4) S13 black top DET short block
5) S13 DET intake manifold
6) S13 DET black wrinkle valve cover (new)
7) S13 DET intake manifold (chopped to weld on custom plenum)
8) S13 DET intake manifold
9) two heads (don't remember what they are off the top of my head)
10) ground/polished S13 DET crankshaft (machined by former partner of Bay Area crank god, Armando)
11) S13 DET crankshaft (or maybe it was an S14 one...)

2) S14 DE bare block (actually I forgot if it's an S13 or S14 block, and whether it was a DE or DET...)
3) SR20 a/c compressor (don't remember which model specifically)

1) S13 DET intake manifold
2) um, I think an upper oil pan off the S15 now that I think about it
3) S13 DET head (this one might have scored caps if I remember correctly, in which case it was the one I used as a jig to weld manifolds off of... if this is the bad head, you can use it as a jig, or recycle it and get yourself 20 bucks or something)
4) B13 DE head (if this is the B13 head, then it was ported and polished many years ago, but was never installed...)
5) S13 DET intake manifold (chopped runners)
6) S13 DET crankshaft (ground/polished one)
7) S13 DET crankshaft (or S14)
8) I think this plastic bin has a bunch of random SR20 engine odds and ends in it... you get it all (but I'm keeping the bin!)

As mentioned, there's other parts on the other side of my storage unit that I didn't get to digging out and taking pics of, but they will also be included... if interested, please PM.
thank you come again

In picture 1, next to #10 there is a wheel, what are their size, how many do you have and how much for them?

How much you looking to get for the S13 short block and also how much for the S15 short block? Thanks

hand: I have the whole set of four wheels.. they're 19x10.5", -26mm f/19x12", -45mm rear... pending sale to a guy from the UK, but technically still for sale until he comes through as he says he will in a few days (and I'd ideally prefer to not have to ship them internationally). I will PM you a pic of the set..

oki: I'd rather sell everything together. After posting I finally decided to do a bit of research and realized that the two short blocks alone are pretty close to $1400... so figure if you buy the whole lot, you end up with a couple hundred bucks worth of extra stuff. Oh yah, and I think I've got a bunch of SR20 electricals somewhere that I'll throw in, too, if I find them (coil packs, ECUs, partial harnesses). If I do find them, you get them at no additional cost.

gang: Best thing to do... is hit up whoever buys everything, and see if they'll sell you just the part you need. Or, ask around and see if anyone else you know what's to go in on you for the lot, and split the cost and parts up among you

phil: sent you PM about the wheels with pics. a local buyer would definitely be preferred over having to pack and ship them to the UK

Nowadays, a short block is usually a complete, assembled motor that consists of the top and bottom ends only... whereas a long block will usually include manifolds and ancillary accessories such as the alternator, a/c compressor, etc. The problem is different people's definitions will vary somewhat, so that's not always the rule. But what you're looking for would be a bare block/bottom end. Or a complete one, depending on how badly you "blew" your engine. An S13 bottom end won't just bolt up to an S14 head because there's no provision for the VTC head's oil feed on the S13 block. From the parts I have, you could easily use the S14 bare block... I honestly don't remember if it's a DE or DET one, but it wouldn't matter if you're going to be sending it to a machine shop anyways, since the only real difference is the inclusion of oil squirters, and the turbo oil/water holes on the block...all stuff the machine shop can drill and tap for you for an extra couple bucks...

Technically I've been on here for even longer than this sn.... but I never registered a login... this is a friend's acct, and I've pretty much taken it over for a while now...
For the folks who PMed asking about bits and pieces of the lot... WakeBHR says he will be grabbing everything... if he, or whoever, does, then it will be best to contact that person and see if they will be willing to sell those individual parts to you. I've come to realize that I'm selling all this stuff for so cheap that everyone can end up benefitting...
