I have a stock S13 hatch and the suspension is horrible. The car shakes and wobbles after 65mph and sometimes when I coming to the stop the car wobbles too.

What suspension parts do you guys suggest? coilovers or more?

Looking to start with suspension mods first then touching the motor later.

Thanks

the shaking and wobbling @ 65mph sounds more like a tire rotational issue than a suspension issue. I'd check out the rotation of you tires first, you don't want to spend loads of money on something that wont fix your problem ykno?

Well my friend that i bought the car from said the rear shocks were bad/blown. Im guessing that could be one of the problems?

If it's blown it will bottom out over bumps and clunk, if you look at it it's probly leaking too. So, you can spend a couple hundred $$$ on new suspension that you think is the problem or you can spend $10 and have the tires balanced. I'd have the tires balanced first. Just my $.02

Get tires balance, and change the pads and rotors(sound warped) then get back to us...

Before you get your tires balanced, and change your pads & rotors, (warped rotor will be felt when stepping on the brakes - your brake pedal will oscillate). check to see if all your lug nuts are tight. Loose or missing lugnuts/wheel studs can cause a shimmy or wobble. Inspect your rim to see if the wheel weights balancing your rim are still in place, (they sometimes fall off throwing your wheel/tire out of balance). Jack the front end of your car up & put it on jack stands. With the front end up & on jack stands, grab the tire/rim/wheel with both arms and push/pull/tug. You are checking for play in your wheel bearings. Bad wheel bearings can also cause your shimmy / wobble. Also check your lower control arm ball joints & tie rod end joints. While you are at it, also check to see if your lower control arm hasn't cracked where the tension control rod connects to it. All of these items can possibly lead to a wheel wobble / shimmy.

Anyhow, hope this helps....

Thanks for the help,

Ive also noticed that it wobbles more when im actually braking. Could that be my rotors are warped?

ummm....how bout an alignment and balance of the wheels and or new brakes and rotors don't sound like a suspension prob to me more like mantianance
