What kind of 1/4 mile times could i expect out of a 97 240 with an SR20, FMIC, intake, and exhaust. Maybe even a boost controller?

ive seen people running 9s at 150+ moh, those sr20s are mad fast and excellent for sweet dorifto skillz :rolleyes:

yeah I heard all the top fuel drag cars are switching to sr's and RB's. JDM rules!!


Honestly: your posting a pretty broad question. can be anywhere from low to mid 13's to high to mid 14's. Some have gotten into 12's.

i have a sr20 stock. and i run a 9.5 on the 1/4. with those mods, you should be in the 7s. :p

I'm gonna take a guess at mid 13's with that set-up.

A reasonable question would go like this.

I have this list of mods XXXX

I have this suspension XXX

this motor XXX

Etc etc

what do you think I could run?

This kid said maybe a boost controller for christ's sake! That completly changes things. What psi? etc..

Then why didn't you ask for more info, instead of ridiculing? He asks a simple question out of curiousity about how fast a slightly modified SR would run at a track and you just go off and give him some lip service, its a buch of BS.

okay everyone relax. we were just trying to have some fun. i'm sorry if anyone took any of those posts as "pointless" or whatever. i apologize for everyone. but foxcolt does have a point.

he said "maybe a boost controller" what if he was running 30+ boost, he'll probly run a 9!

(okay enough im sorry...)

anyway foxcolt, THANKS. I'm at work too and everytime I read replys in threads, i have to scroll REALLY fast past my name. LOL. I dont think anyone around my area cares about it, but if the boss passes by. Uh Oh!

Hey man, would you happen to know a place in VA called Millenium Tuning? I heard they do SR swaps there for cheap and they dont fcuk up.

I've heard of that place before. Can't remember though.

In my area (northern VA) there's no place that specializes in SR swaps..except us!

The only shop I've ever takin my car to was autothority. outa all the places I would trust them the most as I know the backround of the mechanics there.

All others are pretty shiesty in my opinion.

yeah, cuz i was gona get a swap this summer and was planning to go to unstable-hybrids. however, people told me about millenium so i was trying to find out more about them. im closer to heavy throttle but they cant do swaps right now. (i guess they're booked up) i duno, do u know anywhere close to me? im located in north jersey by the way

I was just wondering, but i know for damn sure that a stock SR will NOT run a 9.5 1/4 mile. You must not know what the hell YOURE talking about, i think you may be thinking of an 1/8 mile.
