How much was a difference does the greddy intake manifold make? Does it make enough power to be 500 bucks?

NO it doesnt. not really necessary until around 400ish HP. the inside is pretty rough too, should be honed (if that's the term) to make it smooth.

save your money unless you are at that 400ish HP point on the SR buildup

Intake manifolds on moderate to highly tuned motors make tons of power. Jun's MR2 had 500hp, they put on the intake manifold and made just under 600hp. No joke. they hurt torque a bit but they eliminate power fall-off up high in the rpm's. Definately worth the money if you are pushing over like 375-400 wheel.

hehe i wonder how much mines affecting power on my relatively stock setup then.... any Ideas Dousan?

i got this info from the people who sell it here hehe...(business)

anyways, you only see intake manis on high HP cars, its a pricey piece.

dang oh well i was wondering.. at 7psi mine made 205 with a FMIC the intake 3"dp test pipe N1 dual, so i was curious. I kinda wish I'd done the complete stock setup first and then added it and the FMIC just to compare ya know. oh well.

yeah oh well. hehe..no worries. is it rough inside when you put your finger in it? i heard it was. not smooth so it would great some turbulence.
