Oil pressure gauge on 240sx, whatcha got?!

I'm looking for a few things here:
What motor are you running?
What kind of oil pressure monitoring system do you have?
What figures for pressure do you get at:
Startup?
Idle?
3000RPM?
Redline?

If mechanical, what kind of line are you using, & where do you route it?
What kind of gauge do you have? Wet? Dry? Oil-filled? Brand? Range?
What type & weight oil do you use?
Finally, how much did it cost you, & please itemize!



My answer:
KA24DE (S13)
Mechanical with Earl's stainless line and fittings and a cheapo 0-100psi oil-filled gauge.
Startup psi is around 55-65
Idle is anywhere from 15-20 psi (a little lower when kinda hot)
3kRPM is right aroun 58
Redline oil pressure is above 85psi.
I use Mobil 1 10w30 full synthetic & a Nissan filter.
My total cost was about $52. The gauge was $24.95, the line was about $20 and I needed a few fittings. I already had a tee for the block.

3000 rpm = 67 psi
Redline = 75 psi

KA24E with bad ring 2
10w40 oil

before my the ring bloww i was running 80 psi at full throttle
and usualy 75 psi at 3000

i bought the car with it
its a noname maybe canadian tire stuff but its working fine since i got the car

Im running a Defi D guage oil pressure sensor on my SR (96 S13) currently the sensor fried., but I cant find the stock one to put back in to have the Defi replaced under warrenty. it worked great till the sensor died, sorry cant remember numbers for ya.

Yeh, im clueless into how u install the oil pressure gauges. When you guys bought the gauge, either manual or elect., how did you get them in? did eeverything u need come with it or did you have to go and buy extra parts to makee it work?
