hey kids it mixedwell again. i'm ready to switch suspension on my lil bro's 240sx but he doesnt want to go full suspension (JIC, TIEN, CUSCO, ETC) cuz he cant afford it. anyways, so far the suspension is pretty much stock but we bought Tockiko blues for the rear and KYB AGX struts in the front (not yet installed). but we havent chosen springs yet. so which would be the better setup? GC or just regular Eibach springs like the PROkit or SPortline?

do you think the shocks we chose were ok?
will thgose camber plates work with teh AGX?

thaks for all ur help. holla

Grcound Control coilover kit or Eibach Springs? Go with the GC kit, it'll give you lowering & adjustability, just in case you have to lift the car back up to get it towed or something....Besides Ground Control uses Eibach for its springs..........Hope I was able to help. Oh, and Tokico's should be fine with the setup. But if they don't work out you can always sell them on ebay or something, and buy some koni's.

Pillow mounts will work with the AGX and even the Blues in rear, but you will need some rear upper control arms to adjust the rear camber.

GC's springs are made by Eibach so either way you go you will be getting a quality spring. If I were you Id get the GC's although if you dont need the adjustability then dont waste the extra money.

If you getting Pillow mounts for all four corners and GC's coils then that will most likely cost around $600+/- You might want to consider selling your struts you have and getting a cheap coilover setup such as the Apexi WS or Tein HA which cost around $900-1000.

i've had the JIC FLEX(?) that came with MY car but i've never been a suspension freak.. i just liked playing with motors. eaxctly what are pillow mounts and what do they do? are they the same as those camber plates?

and what are some qaulity CAMBER PLATES (is used ok?) CONTROL ARMS, etc. if we just wanna do some light track work but heavy road racing, what do you suggest? cuz we have sick hookups and maybe ebay can hook up on those camber plate things... i was thinking PDM for control arms. fill me in!

and thanks for your VERY USEFULL responses. you guys rock. thanks for everything. :D

you got either JIC system or Tein Flex (if its green shock or gold camber plates its tein)

camber plates and and pillow ball mounts are the same. we prefer cambe rplates cuz you can adjust camber w/ them. at least i prefer that term

you adjust camber w/ the camber plates. there are no rear camber plates (adjustability wise) for s13s or s14s fyi.

lower control arms. why pdm? its the exact same as oem. nothing special. if you are truely hardcore yu'd get adjustable lower control arm. expect to pay 700-1200 for a set though :)
