What and how are some ballers getting 19in volks-gt under the 240sx tire size ? Lifting Coilovers? Need some help guys I have 19in volks

What in hell is a lifting coilover?

You do realize a 19" wheel will bolt right on to any 240SX, right? There's nothing magical about it.

What i mean was will i have to lift my Coilovers to clear tires ?And what size tire would be needed to clear 245/35/19 clear? or would i have to go 225/35/19 all the way around .. I needed to clearify better sorry. i read it and said the same thing ?What in hell is a lifting coilover?

depends on how low you are now. Since you already have the volks (and i really hope you have a 240sx) jack your car up and put the damn wheel on there

19's are easy. Do 20's if you are a real man who drinks testosterone for breakfast and impregnates women just by winking at them.

Bah teenage rims....

step 1: remove wheels from car
step 2: mount 19s on car
step 3: measure clearance
step 4: space if needed
step 5: slap yourself for being a dumbass

Umm...you do know that you slap on tires to match the overall diameter of the stock wheels so you wont have to worry about the wheels being too big right??? Go look up a tires calculator, punch in 205/55 16 (stock S14 wheels) then punch in 19s and play around with the tire sizing till you find one thats similar to the the stock wheel diameter.

to actually answer your question... they fit fine on S14. 19x9.5 +28 225/40, 19x10.5 +23 245/40 Stock metal fenders up front, roll and slight pull out back, -1.5 camber all around. not 'slammed' but tucking tire and one side has sideskirt off so it looks a bit higher, other side is legit.

Good stuff, I was looking at some 19x9.5/10.5 volks as well +22 offset all around... Going to need different tires as they came off a 350z with 255/40 and 285/35... And they are tr1 proxes... Damn little 240's!... U using any spacers on your wheels ineednewtires?

haha, no thanks, i am not going to stretch that much... not my thing to do something that crazy... what coilovers are those wheels clearing up front? we test fitted the wheels last night and they worked, tires and all, just the overall diameter may screw me... i, sadly enough, have megan coilovers on my car, we test fitted on a car with ksports but he turned the lower mount on the front coilover to clear his wheels at a +25 on a 19x8.5... just curious as to how you did yours to clear with no spacers... thanks!

Yours do look good but not my style and these tires fit his car therefore they will mine... But other than tires, I was debating using my super drifts on it but they are too stiff for what I am looking for... I may do stance, good bang for the buck and by far better than megan/ksport... What studs are you using? I have yet to find decent ones without the insane price ie nismo....

haha, what the hell were you thinking.. you got to pull that fender! BFG's too, i bet you were a little upset... i will try to get the pictures i took with those 285's on the back of my buddies car.. its a bit of a haggard pull, it came out really rough but it cleared the 285's... also, thanks for the info on studs... is there a certain site you went to for these?
