So I have a couple of RB25s now, one of which still has a stock turbo charger on it. Its a series II R33 T28. I used the stock SR T25 on a KA-T project I built/sold and now am using the SR in my S13 convertible. I'd rather not bolt a boring old T25 to the car, so I said piss on it and decided to actually use my T3 T28 that's on my RB25. Since I went with a much bigger turbo on my RB25.

Guess my question is, does a bottom mount exist? If not, putting this turbo on there will require a longer DP and such. Also, from my experience most top mount manifolds are plumbed for external wastegates. Any place that has these readily available?

Ideas and feedback are appreciated,

Chris

I know Neukin makes a T3 bottom mount manifold, but it also has for a external WG. search their name on here for pics.

Is all the trouble worth it to go top mount? I wouldn't even make that an option if I was you.

meh, just looking to get this car on the road at a minimal cost. Its a recreational weekend car. I'm not building it for power, I'm building it for the sake of having a smooth running 5 Speed SR Vert. My RB25 powered Hatch is the car making big power.

I've seen one, but I don't know any details. It's not popular at all really.

I used that same T3 T28 off a jig motor RB25 for our honda hatch shop car haha.

We have made a bottom mount for SR and KA, also just topped off designs for the topmount RB and shipped the first out a few weeks ago.. need to become a sponsor again on here now that summer is back, winter sucks!
