Last night I had this idiot in a "stock" Ford Focus following me for 5+ miles, kept speeding up then would slow down. He did this probably like 10 times.
He cut across the freeway cause there was a big rig coming up, and kept doing it.


A week ago, I had an integra rev his motor and a burn out while I was making a left turn.
That idiot was going the other way.

i while back, i was heading home from a meet at about 2am. this other 240 guy and his gf in an integra and i were all at a red light side by side as i was in the left turn lane. they start revving. the light turns green and they peel out together. i turned left taking my time n cruised on home.

Last Saturday, I was cruising down the freeway at about 3pm. I was going MAYBE 70 mph. I saw a red DC2 up ahead of me in the fast lane, and he slowed down so I could pass him. He dropped back behind my car a bit, then sped up again to get next to me, and started the usual ricer lurching forward shit. I laughed at him and gave him a thumbs down. He persisted with his nonsense, but I kept on laughing at him while keeping my steady 70 mph in 5th gear.
At this point, I noticed a white C4 Corvette coming up behind me at a decent pace, and the Integra takes off ahead. The Vette roared past me, FAST, then past the Integra, but slowed down to let the DC2 pass him again, at which point the Vette tore the Teggy a new asshole.

It was all fairly amusing... I still don't get why ricers bother messing with me. My car is basically stock. Stock body, dropped on springs, Enkie 92s, quiet ass stock exhaust... It doesn't exactly scream, "Hey let's race!"
Then again, ricers used to try to race me when I drove a 100% stock '87 Celica... Fucking fruitcakes.

lso there is a guy around lake forest in a beat up s14 blk that almost everytime i see this guy he always revs @ me when im stopped @ a red lght.

Yesterday, I'm driving the e500. A kid pulls up next to me in his e350. Both are w220's.

What on earth possessed him to try and race me? That's like a puppy trying to pick on a full grown dog.

I have ton's of other stories about people trying to race me.

A good one was this guy trying to race me while I was driving my bmw. He took off and raced right past a cop.

The cop pulled him over of course.

Ok here goes. I was driving my hardbody home the other night, its lowered but I have a bunch of stickers on the back window and everything else is stock. This dumb fuck in a yellow lancer with his "race" wheels on the front and super high offset ebay fucking wheels on the back, gets behind me and starts riding my ass. As soon as he has the chance he flys around me and when hes switching lanes makes sure to use his SUPER MEGA HYPER FAST turn signals. So hes infront of me for a bit but somehow I end up in front of him driving normally. He gets behind me again and we are coming up to a red light. Im in the right lane with a car next to me but that car slows so I get over to the left lane thats empty at the light. This fucking asshole flys by me again and cuts me off to get in the empty lane at the light but again makes sure to use his SUPER MEGA HYPER FAST turn signals. As soon as he stops its windows down stereo up time. I want to get out and beat this fuck over the head with my MP stick but thoughts of jail run through my mind so I decide to just let it go. Light turns green and speeddy gonzales punchs it to show this altima what hes got. Their must have been another jack ass in the altima cause the fucker took the bait and took off after him.

best one i can think of was in my Honda Civic. i was at a light and a 98-02 Camaro SS pulls up next to me and starts revving. i just look over and laugh. as the light turns green a car makes a right into his lane. to show his power he decided to take off at the light, passes the car in the bike lane and floors it. next thing i see is a cop flip a u turn and pull the camaro over. i laugh and wave as a drive by.

When I had my EG civic hatch, I had a lot of people do the whole pace you, go faster, slow down, go faster slow down, most of the time I would set of my bov and continue w/ my business that usually does the trick or just continue on and imagine scenarios like the possibilities of causing accidents (if you look at liveleak or crazysh!t dot com... you know what I'm talking about how nasty accidents get), or got a huge ticket, or anything how dumb it would be.

Have you all seen those w/ license plates stuck in their dash/window? Suckers can cut your head off in an accident I hear... I see that all the time... scary

i was driving home in my clk500 last week after work and it was about 1:00 am.

i was cruising at about 70 and an ek9 pulls up. neon lights, some type of wing on top of another wing, one headlight out, dual exhaust etc.

have you ever had a fly bother you to where no matter how much you try and keep it away its stays around bothering the shit out of you?

he kept on cruising next to me @ 70mph and he was in like 3rd gear making a shit load of noise for like 5 miles.

my radar starts to go off and i see an unmarked police officer a couple cars away.

i step on the gas for a quick second and he takes off. he passes the cop making all types of noise and i pass them at 60mph with him getting pulled over.

last night i went out to get some food, and so im at a red light again like a mile from my house, some dude in a integra next to me listenin to music hella loud and then he puts it on a song called "Redline" the only way i know about this song is because i had a video game with that song in it. anyways, he looks at me and i look back and nod my head as if im gonna race, then the light goes green and he takes off and i just make a right into my street. Yup. I have had many encounters with ricers. It's funny though, I would drive my sohc coupe with an exhaust leak and get revved at like it was the new hotness. When the sr coupe is around, no one messes with me. That's cool with me though. One time this integra cuts me off in the sohc and I'm like ok your cool. So I drive normal and catch him at the light. He looks at me and starts revving up his motor (he is in the left turn lane) so I stick my hand out the window to show him a big :down: and right when the light turns green I drive off normal. Well he got all butthurt and cut across traffic to catch up to me. Well a cop saw everything and didn't like that so he got busted. On my way back home 20 mins. later he's still there with his hood popped. To bad he didn't see me laughing at him while driving by.

When I had my 240sx back in 2003ish, I was heading south on Rosemead Blvd just crossing Las Tunas Dr and a stupid fastback primered pulled out all retarded from the Chevron to catch up to me, peeling his tires because I take it he was pulling making a right, catch up to me ... does the whole BOV next to me looks at me w/ some sort of I'm going to kill you stare... I look at him kinda one eyebrow up like wth was that? and he makes a left on Broadway... which is the next light down.

Last year, I was on my way to Mountain High and an '89 Honda Civic hatchback (ugly, rusted, and TURBO) downshifted right next to me and made his BOV whistle a couple times. I looked over and laughed and revved match to downshift, but didn't accelerate. He took off flying and after noticing I made no attempt to follow after him, he slowed down and continued being an ass. I get people trying to race fairly often, but not nearly as often as when I was driving my multi-colored s13 coupe.

In the "JefeS14", I get the Mustangs and Beemers/etc wanting to race, but the civics and other S-chassis guys just cruise by, then do the "fish hook" look backwards (or in the mirror) to check for a FMIC lol - once they see that, they don't want it.

What I've realized is that the cars that I certainly wouldn't want to race (hondas, mustangs, etc) are the only ones that want to race me - the cars that I would be interested to line up against (vette's, vipers, etc) would never give me the time of day. Kinda depressing.

... but it keeps me from being tempted to run anyone on the street, and that's a good thing. To me, it's less about "proving I'm faster" than a curiosity for "what the other guy's car will do" - when I see a fast car, I want to see "how fast" it is lol. I think it comes from riding bikes so much, just knowing that you're faster than every car on the road.

This one time when i used to have my HYUNDAI ELANTRA i had a guy in a lowered civic that was bouncing like fuck every time he hit a bump try to chase me down on the highway, and i took an offramp at around 65-70 and he did the same, and had a bad case of lift off oversteer and ended up in the guardrail.

I was nice enough to pull his car back onto the road with mine, lol.

one time in my RB25 s13, this CRX kept on lunging forward in hopes of me racing him.. i had full aero, wheels, and straight through N1 Duals.. no cat no res, all pipe. . didnt want to race but he kept on lunging. he was revving at stoplights.. he even merged in front of me, then into the left lane over. so i started to go on the green light and since i was in 1st, i decided to just boost quickly to blow off... i scared the SHIT out of his girfriend causing her to hit her face against the partial opened window. and he backed off so fast, it sounded like he slammed his car into 1st just trying to engine brake. pulls up next to me at the stop light i laugh at his girl and i drive off.. good times.

I was on my way home from jack in the box. I pulled out of cheap taco heaven and wound up behind an 80 something prelude, a little shit box eg hatch, and a pretty cool little crx. I'm just cruising the speed limit saving gas and they all rev on me the crx falls back behind me in my lane, and the eg falls back into the other lane right beside me while the prelude stayed right in front of me.

At this point I'm just like what kind of fucking losers drive around at midnight around town looking for cars to do this to, they they must know they aren't even faster than my car in any way shape or form. Seeing as I had been having a really shitty week and I didn't even have a radio to calm me down, and knowing about people who do this kind of shit to commit insurance scams (because the black guy who plays the president in 24 says so) I was just like fuck it.

I gave the car beside me the peace sign got right on the ludes bumper, created space, dropped it down a gear and just railed it. I heard them do the same, heard one of them mis-shift too lol, but they were a good 8 or 9 car lengths behind me by the time I looked back. So I threw it into neutral and coasted to the light. Of course they all pull up to the light and turn with me. Do the same shit, except now it's only a one lane street and I was just hoping to god the whole time a car would come over the hill crests and hit the little crx that kept passing by all of us and then stopping by the side of the road and doing the same thing over and over.

The rest of the drive I just laughed till my cheeks hurt.

I don't even know what to say about the experience, except that the whole time I just kept thinking about the fast and the furious truck scene lol. I created a diagram to help you (the reader) understand.
