I took this in on a trade for my G20, figured it'd be a lot easier to sell.

I spent the weekend replacing things and cleaning the car up a lot, but I do not need it.

I cannot take trades on this, unless I'm really getting the better end of the deal. I could use the cash right now.

Description:


1990 240sx hatch

-original five speed car
-no sunroof, no power windows etc..
-98% stock
-ka24e powered

Good:

-Recently replaced clutch
-Driver's seat isn't completely trashed like your average car
-Crack Free Dash
-Clean interior
-No power options makes for a good track car.
-PA inspected through July!


Downsides:

-Typical rust, the worst spot is on the driver's frame rail. I've seen much worse on past s13's i've owned,

-Paint job was maaco quality and is flaking off in many areas.

-Both front fenders have some damage

-Steering rack is leaking

-No radio

-"shimmy" in the steering wheel at higher speeds, i assume this stems from the leaking steering rack.

-Driver's door panel is messed up, see photo.

-Tires are nearing the end of their life

**odometer is stuck a 156K, title reads exempt. So, I will be selling the car as TMU (true mileage unknown)**

speedo and tach do work, the odomter just doesn't move.

Notes:

I haven't owned the car long, as I said I took it in as a trade on another car I had. I've looked it over, fixed a few obvious things and cleaned it up well.

I've described it to the best of my knowledge, but It is a 19 year old car so do not expect me to catch every flaw.

I should have the title by Friday, as soon as it's here I'll be able to make a sale.

I can show the car any evening or anytime on the weekend.

**the car is bone stock less a Greddy shift knob and cherry bomb looking exhaust**

I replaced the shift knob with one i had lying around, as the stock one was in poor shape.

i would consider dailying it....however i have not had it long enough to know exactly how reliable it is.

there are no obvious mechanical problems other than the leaking steering rack.

I have removed the PS belt so that the pump doesn't get shot from lack of fluid.

I've had 8 240's..four of them were ka-e cars, this one seems the most solid out of the bunch from a mechanical standpoint
