Deck Kenwood eXcelon X959 had it for awhile. just really got into burning all my CDs to MP3/WMA (mine reads both) for car consumption. Im thinking more and more about actually getting the Sirius tuner and antenna to go with it after a recent road trip.

I got the new sony Xplod CDX-MP40, it plays MP3s too, I got just 8 LONG albums on one disk and someone I know burned me a WMA disk, I'll be cutting his head off with it later this afternoon to get the MP3s, but I love this thing already... It's XM ready, so I may swing that way later on in life

personally.. I never liked Pac all that much. he's like Nas to me, a few head nodders but mostly for the beats and catchy hooks. never was THAT impressed by either of them. I'd rather listen to Cube Dre Snoop Kurupt etc.. just not much from the west coast I consistently like. ooh Chino XL and J5, just none of it made iot on this disk :) I got 2 of J5s and 2 Dialated peoples on another disk..

What bit rate are you guys using??? Do you realize that you can damage your hearing listening to MP3's? Well, you would have to listen to them a lot.....radio can do it too. But unless your a musician or work in the industry you could probably care less  :D

What bitrate? Got me, could honestly care less... As much time as I spend around planes, I'm sure that will take my hearing before and MP3 will...

Matter of personal preference... I don't really get into E-40 B-legit and the others and never really was a Pac fan... I grew up on east coast and down south music.

MP3 players are quite cool. It's nice having a lot of songs on one disc. But for me, I got spoiled. I want to have a hard drive full of my MP3's

Wow. I did a search on it and found a lot of info but didn't read it yet. I'm about to fall asleep so if I actually read all of it, I wouldn't remember it. If anyone wants to take a look at it, it's here http://www.informatik.fh-hamburg.de/~windle_c/Logologie/MP3-Gefahr/MP3-risk.html

This cat that works with me has a 2002 GTI with a small PC he built with like 14,000 MP3s on it he rides around with... The sweet thing is that it is really small, about the size of an average CD changer.

yeah I've been kinda torn.. the kenwood excelon series has an optional "KEG" basically a cross between a hard drive and a changer. lets you store umpteen million MP3s on what look like big zip disks. pretty cool. though I think I'll keep burning CDs less to sort through when your looking for that one album instead of 2 million folders on a big HD
