I'm looking to get about 300whp out of my current ride. It's an SR20 with a T28 out of a GTi-R, 3" turbo back (cat delete), Starion fmic, open element air filter, blah blah blah. It's running on wastegate boost (10psi) and i would like to bring it up to 14psi or so. I am still running the SR maf.
I know I should get a fuel pump and Z32 maf no matter what I plan on doing.
Just want opinions on what the minimum I need to get there for now.

My emanage that I am selling with tuning software included.... I can work a deal out with you.... THen tune your car a little so you don't blow it. Same injectors with good tune is fine and then yah raise the boost pressure...

yeah, you are asking to do alot.
300hp out of a SR20 probably shouldn't be attempted on a budget.
The engine will go on ya pretty quikly, especially if you daily it.
your basically saying,
"how can I get 50% more HP for little money".
If there was a way to do that with reliability, we would all be doing it.
course, If you track it once a month, then shit, why not I guess.
Its gonna go one day, so roll the dice and beat it up till it happens :)

..and a good tune for them
cheapest would probably be manual boost controller, sidefeed injectors, and a rom tune (+ the walbro and zmaf of course). you'd be close to 300.

This is the info I was looking for. Thank you very much. Just for the record, I wasnt trying to be cheap. I realize I have to spend money. I just want to spend it wisely and get the best bang for my buck. I set my goals at 300 for now and we will see what the future holds after that. And I have done the nitrous thing and... nah. I hated always filling the tank business and I'd rather spend the $$ on a more permanent mod. One thing I'm trying to keep is "SOME" of the great economy this thing gets. Thats why I set my goal at 300 for now. As far as how I know im overrunning my maf. I hit fuel cut every so often and from what I was told, it was the maf causing this. I have no way to confirm this myself but it was from a guy that I would consider a reliable source. Any other info will be greatly apppreciated.

maf does not have fuel cut bro.....
Then, where am I getting my fuel cut from? If I have that now, I'm sure I will have it no matter what I do. Id like to tackle that first. It isn'thappening all the time. Seemsto be more prevalent when it's cooler temperatures.

As is, no tuning. This is how I got the car. The only things not oem SR is the fmic, 3"exh, and air filter. The ecu is a #63 which is for an auto SR car if im not mistaken. I wasn't aware that tuning was necessary with the minor mods this has. Correct me if I am wrong here.

Well tuning is always good. I am guessing that when you run the car it'll act like a governor kicks in at lower speeds and when boosting?

Nope. It only happens at higher rpm's and it isnt violent like my DSM was but it definitely feels like fuel cut.

the ecu has fuel cut stock... 300hp - get injectors, z maf, and a tune - turn the boost up

Fuel Cut = Stock fuel pump. Get a walbro pump, 550cc injectors, Zmaf, rom-tune, boost controller and crank that bitch up to 16 psi.

550cc injectors
z maf
boost controller
standalone ecu and then get the car dyno tuned.
