Brother, let me help.

You have to hook that badboy up the the "internet".
Once there, you can access the Nintendo store.
They have a ton of games for Nintendo, Super, 64, Sega, etc.
You can buy them with a credit card I think, or hit up the store and get a Wii points card.
Super Mario 3 is probably like $10 or 1000 points.

Hahaha not even I think there selling for like 3 something like 350 and below. Now that wii can be found at just about any store people are doing the mods them self since its so easy. Yesterday I picked up a Wii Board and game for only 80 bucks brand new my GF loves it

God I cant believe that people care so much about the warranty lol your like the forth person who wants to mod the system but don't wanna void the warranty I think nintendo it like the only system that has never crashed or anything WTF will you need the warranty for.

Well just Google home brew channel and looks around your going to need a copy of zelda twilight game and a sd card and just watch the videos and figure out how to do it. It's really easy and you wont void the warranty.

I've been playing COD: WaW online for a little while now. Fun stuff.

It takes a little getting used to, but pointing the remote at the screen to aim is just a more "organic" and natural way to play an FPS. Online play is more fun then the campaign too.

Most of the guys I work with have "soft modded" their Wii's. I have no desire to "hack" my system. I buy games every now and then, but I don't need to have every game out there. If I take the time to pick a game, and spend my hard earned money on it, I find that I appreciate it more. The guys that have their Wii's modded have more games then they know what to do with, so they get bored with each game pretty quickly. When I buy a new game, I play it until I beat it, then I typically go back and play it again.

The Wii-Ware games can be fun as well. "World of Goo" is rated higher then a decent cross section of the $60 "disc" games.

buy used games, thats what i always do. at Game Stop if you buy used you can return it within 1 week. half the time i buy it beat it and return for another. in fact an employee told me to do this.

Yeah homebrew channel is definitely the way to go.... Free and easy... To me anyway. All you need is Zelda: Twilight princess and an sd card. Also it makes it alot easier if you have the 3.2 or 3.3 firmware. Downgraders are easily obtained.

I agree a modded 360 is way better. I just flash my system with the newest firmware out the 1.51 now I can play H.A.W.K and any other new game that comes out after April.

And if you have a flashed 360 you better update it to the newest firmware because starting in April most of the new games to come put wont run on the old firmware just a heads up :l101:

You need to do the twilight hack so you can have the homebrew channel. Once you have that you install starfall i think gecko os orical and some other crap. And what starfall does is it allows you to boot the games that require a 3.5 update im running 3.2 on my wii and I can still play online with games like mario kart and animal crossing. If you have a mod chip instaled then you wont have to worry about your wii locking up but if you do just the twilight hack and run a game that requires you to have it updated then you will lock up the wii.

ohh, i see so the wiikey chip thing that can get plugged in will let me put the wii in stealthmode or something so it can still download the newest firmware?
