View Full Version : UT TW: S13 KW VARIANT 3 Coilovers with Tein Camber Plates
I have another car now so the 240 has been sitting around looking pretty. Could use some extra skrill for other projects. Thinking about selling these KW Variant 3 Coilovers that are in great condition and comes with front and rear Tein Camber Plates (~$300 value). I have the perch wrench, allen key, manuals, and even the original box.
These coilovers outperformed my older Stance setup even at a softer spring rate and are no doubt, a lot more comfortable. The dampers are top notch for the price and are double adjustable. I am looking for $1500 + shipping.

Curious about running the Tein plates w/ these KWs. How/Did you have to modify them?

What spring rates are they? How much without the camber plates? How long have you had them?
Thanks for all the interests. I will try and get pics up this weekend. The time owned is a bit less than a year. The duration they were driven on, 3 months. Mileage approximately 6k (whoops not 10 lol) miles. These are practically brand new.

KW Variant 3's are the ish. Comfortable when you need them to be competitive when you need them to be. Definately a step up from your high end convential coilover.

Whoa. Bump for a local...
Though, I don't think we've met. Nice suspension. Wish I could afford it.

Thanks for the bump. No, I don't believe we've met but I do recognize your username from driftutah and utahnissans. My username on the forums is Law but I usually just lurk.

IIRC they are stock 5/4kg (i will verify when i find where i written the specs down) where as my Stance's were 9/7kg. I had to custom machine the rear camber plates to work with the system so I am not looking to part them for obvious reasons. They were bought brand new and I've had them for under a year. The suspension has only seen 3 months of driving and zero track.
How low can these go?
At the max drop, you will have about a less than one finger gap. Definitely not what you want if all you want is a shit-slammed car.
