So I went to advanced and got a new set of BKRs for my sr20 and opened the box and seen a V cut in the electrode. Then I got on NGKs website and they say with the V cut the electrude is exposed to the a/f more so and better combustion. Now if my arc is comeing from the bottom of the V then my gap is actually going to be larger than what I want it to be... Has anyone recently got a set of NGKs that was "V-power" ?

here is a link that will show you exactly what I'm talking about

From what I've read the spark doesn't come from the bottom of the groove
The v allows a hotter spark, just gap as normal

So you all feel the plug will perform as well as the standard plugs?

Yes, they work fine. I'm using the exact same plugs in the -11.

They'll be fine.
In fact, I seriously think that the ONLY NGK plugs they sell down here are V-Power, even the copper ones.
