I'm coming out to Cali the last week of May and the first week of June and I'm trying to figure out the best place to get a hotel. I was looking at the holiday inn in downtown Long Beach but utimately decided against it. I don't necessarily need a specific hotel but I have no idea where the best part of LA is to stay in. Let me know if you have any suggestions, maybe I'll even have time to make it to a meet or two.

yeah but if he's trying to make it to a meet or 2...then he's gonna be looking at 30-40min drive with LA traffic

anywhere in the 626 area u can stay (arcadia, temple city, west covina, pasadena, alhambra) and u can catch a meet pretty much any day of the week within a 15-20min drive

I'm ok with a drive, I'd much rather stay closer to everything I'll be seeing the rest of the time, the beach and hollywood and all that jazz. I'm just not sure where everything is in relation to everything else distance wise so it's making it hard to pick a hotel without being on mapquest constantly
