I have a 1.5 way Nismo avail to me for a really good price from a friend..
My problem is its installed in a 91 Skyline GTR .. Now will I be able to install it into my s13 dif housing or no? GTR difs stock are vlsd i believe.. my current dif is a Vlsd if that makes a difference atall or not..
I just figured since they are both R200 difs they should be interchangable

I'm pretty sure you can if they are both VLSDs

negative ghost ryder. the bolts on the ring gear are bigger on the gtr. can't use the housing unless you get the whole gtr rear subframe. the gtr also uses 6 individual bolt half shafts instead of the 5 bolt or the 6 with the triangular half shafts.

if I use the whole housing tho then Ill need to switch out the tail shaft on the dif 2 an s13 one
will the GTR dif bolt into a s13 frame?
Heres what I have access 2.. complete rear subframe minus the Traction, ruca arms. thing is a GTR subframe is Hicas which is gay

use the whole gtr frame get a hicas delete bar and the rest that you need. thats if you want to go with it. you won't have to worry about breaking axles though if you plan on having alot of power. plenty of ppl here on oki do it with no problems and they push 900+hp.

Its a R32 GTR dif...
I have the whole rear setup except the RUCA an the toe .. Id rather just use my S13 subframe an install the whole R32 GTR diff if possible... I know Id have to fiure out what to do about the output on the gtr dif cuz Its different from a s13...
Anyone done this B4?
Any help would really be welcomed

If, you have the r32 dif and axles it's a bolt-on affair. It's not hard... use drive shaft , and e brake to help you loosen and tighten nut&bolts. just think about it before you post, then the help will be more appreciated.
sorry I don't know if that dif came in other flavors like abs sensor snout thing, but my r32 vlsd bolted on, with no modification.

well i was saying use the 32 rear for the fact that it's only 4 bolts compared to changing out all shafts and the hubs. it'd be easier to just drop the frame and put the other one up.

I have thaught about it.. the input Ive gotten so far has been great..
Now you said yours bolted right in.. I take it you used GTR Pumpkin.. axles an hubs.. Now did your driveshaft bolt right up off your S chassis.. Reason Im asking so many Questions Is i like to have stuff sorted out b4 I pay for parts an go pick them Up.. an the said subframe is locked in a garage that the owner is never ever home so I havent been able to go look / pick it up/ etc

I purchased a r32 dif setup and z32 hubs and brake assembly separately, they do work together.
The pumpkin bolted in and the drive shaft bolted up just fine. The only problem I encounter was one of my differential front mounting bolts were rusted. The Fix (a hammer and a 10min calm down)
I think you have everything, I'm Just waiting for you to finish the swap .;)
