Black Bomber S14 - Nissan, 240SX - TunerZine.com - Your Online Automotive Magazine (http://www.tunerzine.com/view_article/car_feature/black-bomber-s14)

To the owner of this S14, I was wondering, do your rear tires rub like crazy?
I think the stance is pretty awesome, but I dunno how well it would work on bumpy roads.

No. He needs to drop the car all around. He should be worrying about the rim hitting the fender, not that monstrous tire gap.

No. He needs to drop the car all around. He should be worrying about the rim hitting the fender, not that monstrous tire gap.

His fender gap in the rear [Rear tire to fender] is about what people with super low offset wheels and stretched tires have from wheel to fender.

It all depends on what driving style he has.
I prefer having balloon tires that grip on my daily, I toss on a legit stretch when I drift.

Other people feel exactly the opposite.
I'd rather see a nice stance with wide tires on some Works than the cookie cutter stretched tire stance on XXRs that everyone and their mom has.
But, that's just how I feel.

Good thing he kept those fender liners in.

I guess it doesn't take anything special to get into magazines these days.

dont forget the sloppy wiring here and there, but overall the car is OK.. i dont mind it. its a nice usable stockish tuned car. height is fine, too many 18 year olds talking who actually like driving diagonally to go over speed bumps. shit grows old real quick when you just want to drive your fucking car. even the porsche's ive driven arent that annoying...

thanks you. its nice to see you share the same viewpoint.

as for scrapping on speed bumps, my old s13 would scrape a little and it was pretty high.

people from the north are so fuckin opinionated and need to make a thread on anything and everthing, i bet youre on NWN too. where do you justify making a thread about someones car? if you have a question about wheel fitment, throw it in the right section http://zilvia.net/f/chat/129865-wheel-fitment-whore-thread.html
odds are if he is on here someone will recognize it in there.

WIN.

car could go an inch lower.
But for a daily, its great.
Dont wanna have to be constantly touching up and replacing front bumpers.

Front fender liners are hanging because of the after market wide fenders.
They dont line up.

Sorry, I'm almost two years late. I never saw this thread till now. The car definately never rubbed. Believe me guys I always looked back at those tunerzine picks and I said the car was too high. It was on Eibach sportline springs at that time. Thats the reason why it has the front fenders on the car.
Now I have some Stance coilovers and some 235-40-18's on the car instead of those fat-ass 245-40-18 federals. The car sits alittle nicer now. It's still not slammed but it definately has a nicer stance to it. Front still alittle higher do to the fenders. Don't want to shatter them on the shitty highways in my area.

ps- always been a zilvia man, never really got into the nicoclub web site.
