C2auto.com, they had like 5 in stock. Supposedly, these are pretty rare. I used it for a security device because of that.

they are rare but easy as hell to remove from the hub.

Im making a different point, if you have a ball bearing type its more common and more people are app to have one to jack your car. Rare indeed and easy to remove of course like any other.

Why buy?
It's a works bell QR that's why it's expensive; you get what you pay for. It's not any cheap ones you can get on ebay. So far no play and everything works great.

If you dont like the steering wheel being close to your chest, this is only a 1 inch spacer.

ive had a fet ver 2, I bought it for only 1 reason.

It's definitely a lot thinner compared to the ball bearing types. The locking mechanism is pretty unique too. Also, the part that connecst to the steering wheel is light, so you dont have to carry around a heavy steering around if you take it off a lot.

I think he means the price is a bit inflated. Even at stores, that price seems high. I think they were like $125 before. For example, this was a couple years ago, but FET quick release nonetheless. Maybe they've gone up in price http://zilvia.net/f/sale-items/124448-fs-fet-quick-release.html
