I know there are a lot of the Ford/Chevy/Pontiac type garage stencils out there, but are there any JDM company ones? 5-Zigen, Cusco, Nismo and the like?

I think the proper term is stencil...I am looking for the outline things you can hang on a wall and paint, leaving behind the logo on the wall.

Large decals would also work.

let me know if you know a place, thanks!

didn't think of this...however; I am not sure if I can get perfection out of a scan to raster from a box / label even at 4 figure dpi scanning.

Yeah..it's not that hard. You'll never be able to buy them online i don't think. Cut them yourself. I cut all my vinyl stickers myself.

(the small drift tengoku one there)

All hand cut because i don't have money for a vinyl cutter. But it makes them all a little unique.

Any vinyl shop should be able to scan stickers and blow them up. Then pick the positive out leaving the negative. You now have a stencil.

I may have to explore this router or just have decals made. I have a bunch of garage catalogs and they have tons of domestic cutouts you can just pin up and spray. Sort of nice. I don't have a baller garage or anything, but I'd like to get some logos up for the fun of it.

Garage decor is popular with the older set that actually own their own houses. Most are into Domestics and some Euro's. Unfortunately for you the Import market is still young. There is not a huge market for import garages like there is for muscle garages.

IMHO, finding some stickers and decals you like and having them blown up and converted to stencils would be unique over a store bought crap.

Agreed and Agreed.

wise words :)

youth garages are for stolen beer banners and beer pong. usually your not in a house long enough when your young to really get the garage going, let alone the rest of the house.
