I don't think it can be the tires, since there brand new. The belts should be perfectly fine.
But, when im goin 55-60mph, the front end starts to shake pretty badly.
Toe rods?
Im not sure what would cause it.
My guess way alignment, but I wanna here your guy's input.

maybe they are not balaced right causing the car to shake at those speeds

balancing is usually a tire shimmy at 55 that comes and gos at speeds above and below that speed.

Ive been through that guide already, only thing I saw was the bushing on the tension rods where shot and the boots where a little torn.
Can the tension rods really cause it to shake like that?

i had the same issue on my s13, it would only shake at highway speeds, it was a bent rim for me , but could also be a balancing issue

Tension rods. I had this same problem--speed specific. You even said the bushing is shot. Try moving it around. If it does (and it shouldn't), then it's your tension rods. Time to upgrade :)
Wheels off balance can do this, but not as bad as what the OP is describing. Mine felt like the car was literally going to fall apart--and it will, if you don't get that fixed soon.

Have you had this problem since you bought the tires? I have slung improperly installed wheel weights before.
Re-balance should be free.

Most likely wheel balance. If you've noticed it since the tires i have no doubt it's wheel balance. Also retorque your wheels...ugh ive seen too many fails from people not doing that.

i jst had the same problem a couple of days ago. check if you wheels wiggle left and right, if it does it maybe your tie rod end. that was the problem for me, change it and all goodie =] goodluck

If it jiggles left to right that's wheel bearings. if up and down, check bushings all around.

is your steering wheel vibrating? i have that problem around 60 and i found that my brake rotor was warped, and it kept rubbing up to the brake pad

Get an alignment. Had this problem on both of my 240's and an alignment fixed it each and every time. Good luck!

Yeah, steering wheel shakes. I bought the car with 3 miles on the tires, that's what makes me think that they are balanced correctly. Also, I have to hold my steering wheel about 15 degrees to the left to go straight. Think its just an alignment problem?
Thanks.

How do your Rack & Pinion Bushings look..?

Sheesh. Go balance your wheels/tires. Previous owner probably didn't even get them balanced since he was selling the car.

i'd say it's a bad balanced wheel. try getting them rebalanced. that fixed my problem. they added a buncah weights here and there haha pretty neat how those lil metal pieces just fixed the problem.

If you went through my guide, and did ALL the checks as it is written in a systematic way, then get an alignment. Cause all those checks will tell you if it is anything other than a tire rebalance or an alignment check.....
Tension rods in the front hold your wheel steady.... If it is shot to holy hell, its going to shake cause besides the arms which the bushings or LCA ball joint is probably shot, the tension arm holds your front up in lateral motion.....
Don't waste your money to get alignment now. Check what needs to be replaced and then get alignment. Tensions rods and lca's and see if tie rods inner and outer is ok.... too! Wheel bearings, eh..... Maybe. If it is new tires and rebalance is free go for that too....

rotate and balance wheels first. if not take it in for an alignment. they wont align it if it needs something, and they will tell you what it needs

He has to hold the wheel 15 degrees to the left.. Def an alignment issue and a shitty balancing job..
