1993 Black 240sx Convertible < ----Simple and Clean

I am driving up to the bay area between march 5th evening to the 7th evening. yes the i will be driving the car up there. i am meeting a few potential buyers and wanted to put the word out that i will be available to meet any people in the san jose to san ramon area if you are interested in the car.

also, going in for baseline dyno run on march 5th morning so that i have hard paper work to show car is running clean and good. predicting about 230-240hp to the wheels sae corrected. i already know i get full boost at 3k rpm. going to most likely setup the car for #1 low boost 200hp and #2 high boost 240hp? the gizzmo controller has 6 boost profiles.

Posting up my ’93 Vert for sale, I don’t want to sell her, but I need the cash to pay for my upcoming wedding (may be s15 project soon?). Car runs great, it has all the basic stuff, black with dark grey interior. Fuel efficiency is great. All basic maintenance has been done regularly and swapped with new belts(2 weeks ago), water pump (2 weeks ago)and oil pump. wetter water, redline heavy shock/light shock mix setup in tranny, Mobil1 engine oil (2 days ago), Nismo diff oil, and Motul brake fluid... this car has gotten me through summers and long trips. Car has all working accessories, like power windows, AC, power top, mirrors, lights, & power steering. Car still gets above 25+ MPG, very reliable, never broke down on me once. Car was my daily driver till I got my honda ruckus. Car has always been garaged. Car is currently located in so-cal (Orange County), but I can arrange to drop off the car up in nor-cal if anyone is interested.

okay, just got done with my dyno run... will scan the chart when i get to a desktop, but i think it won't be until i get to SF tonight...

232.71 HP, 208.70 TQ @ 11.8psi

200+wTQ from 3500rpm to 6000rpm
220+wHP from 5500rpm to 7100rpm

hit the 230 mark with a good fuel map. checked timing and had the mechanic take a look around at anything peculiar. i didn't want to shoot for more power as i didn't want to sacrafice the fuel milage, cause he said he had to raise fuel map if i wanted more power. car runs great and can boost more.

all my dyno vids are too messy, you can't really hear the car, just the dyno spinning. i will try to get fun vids of the exhaust and BOV since they are not as popular to where people know how they sound.

yea, i will post if it isn't sold by this weekend (bought plane ticket back already)... even if it doesn't sell this weekend i think imma leave it in the bay area for a bit for people to come by to check it out. i will bring it back down may be in a few weeks if there are no buyers. i had a few people come by down here but nobody with cash in hand...

i go up north at least once a month... so if someone has the money in socal i can bring the car back any time as place tickets are so cheap to go up there... jet blue has weekday tickets for like 40 bucks one way!

will also post my milage info for my trip also... should be a nice good average for anyone interested in my car... as i will be leaving town about 6pm, in the middle of traffic... so good realworld mpg is good to know...

yea, i am going to leave the car up in the bay area for a bit to try and sell the car there, i posted the car in socal for a bit and there was alot of interest but no serious buyers. i will bring it back down after all the people i arranged check it out. i will post an exact date on when i can bring it back down...

i will have my friend who is holding the car in the bay area take a few pics of the engine bay. it is pretty simple...

stock intercooler piping - better response
stock heatsheild - makes it look stock to prying eyes.
everythign else is in perfect working order?

i wanted to also post that i got 28MPG leaving long beach at 4:30pm, going through la traffic and up through the grape vine to most of my trip up north. this is with the boost set at 11.8 psi from my last dyno run.
