I tried doing this twice by following the FSM for both cars and i got everything to work besides the RPM and the Speedometer, oh and heat gauge. So does anyone have a write up that i can follow? And actually after putting back my s13 cluster my RPM gauge permanently doesnt work. Anyone help?

You'll need an S14 CTS to have the water temp gauge work properly. Not sure about the other two.

Im thinking you need to convert the signal for the tach.
You have a single cam, right?

Speedometer, I'm not so sure.
Dual cam speed sensor maybe?
Worth a try.

OH YES! for the water temp gauge, i completely forgot about that. I have the dual cam cluster in before because i have an sr. so thats one problem down. I know there is one person on here that did it before, i just forgot who it was. And any idea why my RPM gauge doesnt work? All fuses are ok, could the signal from the ecu not be working properly?

I will pay someone to make this work. Seriously, i know there is this guy on zilvia that was selling a blue s13.4 a really nice one that made it work dont remember who it was. But yea, will pay someone to make this work.

You need the S14 Speed Sensor for the speedometer to work. Don't know about your RPM signal though. I would suggest double checking your wiring and checking over any fuses that may be related to the RPM signal as well.

Yea i'm kinda fed up with trying it because i tried 3 times, burnt a bunch of fuses, and now my RPM permanently doesnt work. i THINK its the ecu, i've been trying to figure out my RPM not working problem for a while.

have you replaced all burnt fuses? try a friend's ecu out or get one from the local salvage yard.

I'm on the hunt for an ecu. Unfortunately none of my friends have an sr, so i have to like ask a stranger to borrow one. Replaced all the fuses. Everything on the original cluster works except the RPM. Also when i wire up the s14 cluster, it immediately burns the meter fuse. I fixed that, but still no RPM. =(, i need to find that dude on here that wired it up, he has a lot of posts just dont remember his name.
