ive bent 4 fucking tie rods on that infield transfer. in one day, but matt powers in his slammed ass s14 didnt bend nothing so i guess just slow your roll when dropping in or run a really low line.

that's right, we've had super slammed cars come to our track and have had no issues with bending tie rods. the reason why everyone else bent their rods at DB was because for some reason DB used a really rough transitioning point.

Drift Day sells Zamp SA rated helmets for $130 for an open face, and $180 for a closed face. this is SUPER CHEAP and you won't have to worry about any regulations regarding helmets. i bought my SA rated helmet for over $250.

to run the bank course you need to have an sa 95 or newer rated helmet. we will be transitioning to all drivers must have an sa rated helmet. it is for the drivers safety.

it's just the standard regulations that Drift Day put forth due to insurance and safety.

lol, gas... you can drive up on a full tank, drift all day, and then go home. you might have to top off but i highly doubt it. as for tires... shit... i went up there on used RS2s that i tracked the crap out of, drifted all day, and i'm going to do it again, IT'S SUPER SMOOTH! you only need to make sure you have a pair to drive home on. THAT'S ALL!

Snell 95 = SA95. If your helmet is a DOT/Snell Approved, it's most likely an M-rated helmet. pm me if you have any questions .

the beginners will be doing a full infield course. if you prove your consistent and we can trust you out on the bank then you can switch run groups. just find one of the thurs. knights staff and make sure we watch you if you feel you are consistent then we will switch you over to advanced. te beginner group is rather large so we will probably try to push some of the better beginners up to advanced group to even out the run groups.

Nos center is really REALLY good on tires, A LOT better than balcony. You shouldn't have problems thinking your not gonna have tires to go home with.

and YES the NOS center is nice and smooth and tire friendly. my first time there I had new fedies and stayed on the track all day and took em home with about 50% tread. thoese tires ended up on my friends rims that went another full day at NOS and STILL have life in em!

speaking of tires....I have a whole new outlook on them now that I am here have to pay about $140 EACH tire. most of the guys here get used ones for $70 each and run them till they blow, up in the mountains almost every car that is sliding is shooting sparks from the wires all night long.
REMEMBER, if any one needs some tires before the event please contact one of us from thurs knights and we can refer you to one of the lowest cost tires shops in SD county. we have been going there for over a yr now with no complaints. they will beat ANY price out there.

Alright so check it out. This was the most big time event ever.

Maybe because I am actually drifting alright now, but everything about this event from the way you guys ran it to the track layout was amazing.

I am extremely proud to have Jimmy Up on that flyer and would be more than happy to help with anything you guys need.

I was wondering why I went through my tires so fast this time around and then I watched a vid that my girlfriend got of me and saw that the course is about 50 seconds of nonstop smoking lol.

I seriously love these events, whoever has not done one is missing the fuck out.

Damn Mike! 47 pounds! No wonder you went through your tires so fast. Really with the power you do have you should be down around 35 or maybe 40 max COLD pressure. It really won't strain your car any more but you'll have more traction and you won't be BOILING your tires quite as fast. Man I run 40 pounds cold on mine and you know what I'm rockin' under the hood!
