Options mounting intercooler on s13 w/ sr

All the s13 guys w/ SRs I need your help! Just wanted to figure out my options on mounting the Greddy FMIC before I just start cutting up the bumper support.

My ideas:
1. Angle the IC down to miss the support and just cut the hell out of the bumper cover
2. modify the bumper support and push it back closer to the car
3. mount it behind the bumper support (clear room and relocate lines)


Will any of these work?

This intercooler is supposed to be mounted behind the bumper support. But you do have to cut some of the support as well as the bumper cover. Just look at the pics in the instructions, it'll show where to cut.

I just took my bumper support off. Too much of a pain for me to mess with it.

I don't think any of those ideas will work. I cut my support (it's a pain in the ass) almost 2 inces to clear. I think it was worth it. In a minor head on the intercoolr is biting it either way, but if it can ease the damage on the motor it's worth it. I'll post pics if I ever get home from work (traveling).
Nrcooled: did you ever figure out your turbo timer?

Nrcooled, if you can, get a jdm bumper support, it's not as thick and only takes some minor cutting to fit the I/C
