View Full Version : Drift coverage on TNN!

So i turn on TNN to watch their power block (mainly car and driver) and caught the last 5 minutes of import tuner (i think). They were covering drift, from last week's Drift showoff to some drifting in Japan. Wow, drift coverage on cable TV, this **** is getting big. I'm not sure if i like it, it worries me, waaaay too much attention. I didn't catch the beginning of the show tho, the part that probably covered the Drift Showoff.

Anyway, just a heads up. The part i did watch was a clip of a crew from Super Street visiting Signal Auto in Japan, the owner of Signal Auto took the guys out drifting. Some cool stuff, skyline, 180sx, s15 sideways... on cable TV, it blows my mind. =)

my sister got worried, she said if i ever do stuff like that she won't get into my car again... :p

i saw it too, but don't worry, the only part about drifting was what you saw. the rest was about go-carts.:confused:

yea i got worried when i saw it too. btw, the show is called "super2nr tv".

Yeah, i'm not sure about that show yet. It does seem like it could be pretty decent. I'm just hoping that they actually have some coverage of cars being tuned in the shop.

wow, i feel bad that i find this out and i miss it. wen will they show it again? and hopefully its a rerun

The show is on TNN at 12:30 on saturdays and 12:00 on sundays. Eastern Time.

Ya I saw it too, most of the in car camera shots were in a 180SX i believe, well it had flip ups and the guages were S13 guages. You didn't miss much though, it was just like those night time drifting vids that are on the internet somewhere.

The only good part about the show is they do recognize the rice in 2F2F, IIRC they called the silver skyline that will be in 2f2f rice, but anyway its better than the one on Speed Channel.

I also hope you all saw Car and Driver, The RX8 prevails:D

And am I the only one that finds that chick that does the power block line uo thing annoying, shes good looking and all but annoying to listen to.

i thought most of the time they were in the owner of Signal auto's car, he has a 450 hp skyline. Anyway, i might have missed something, didn't really pay attention until i realize what was on.

yes, i did catch car and driver, good show although they didn't show any numbers, only opinions. although i think now they really need to do a comparo between the 350z and the rx8.

thats what i thought too, i think on the highway from the shop they were in the skyline, but when drifting they were in a car with flip up lights.
