Price: 7900 FIRMNo suspension: see details below.
Phone: 7572775866, please no calls unless you have money ready and know this is what you want. For little questions text or PM.
Trades: 100% stock AUTO 95 Zenki with ABS. no abs=not interested
Miles: 113k Trans has a genuine 3x k miles, verified with vin tag and car fax.
Location: Virginia Beach
Clean Title hoping to get a car fax later to post for you to see.
Emissions: Check engine light caused by the difference in ECU has been corrected and now complies with emissions laws in other states.

To lower the price of the car I am selling it “semi-stock” to give new owner the opportunity to do the suspension his way. Momo Steering wheel will not be included. . Because people flake out on hourly basis i will not remove wheel and suspension until i have a deposit on hand.

I was setting the car up for autocross but I was never able to get the right wheels / tires and didn’t have the opportunity, so it remained my daily. It was purchased with an auto trans from a girl in Hampton in 2007 with 89k. Stamped on the title. Car has been local its whole life.

In Summer of 2008 after getting my quarter panel dented I had Joey and his crew at Stock or Modified pretty much repaint the whole thing. I think including JDM(god I hate that word) Front and Rear Kouki Bumpers and lights it cost around 2700. Joey also hooked me up with a nice Front fender pull/roll, I think I got a good extra 20mm clearance out of it.

Now to what you do and don’t get the the car: below is a link to a spreadsheet that lists actual cost of parts I kept for my own records and now making public so that people can get an idea of what they are getting exactly.

Key Points:
New Gas Tank(oem nissan)
Free of rust or even corrosion even under the subframe.
Stock suspension for the exception of SPC tension rods.
R33 5 bolt LSD and axles.
Stock SE wheels with 80% tires evenly worn, optional(350$) G35 18” wheels.
Pulled and rolled F fenders 15-20mm
Rolled and slightly pulled rear fenders
Working AC and every other part of the car.
Comp perfect but I do not have numbers from last years test, will only get new numbers if its only thing that holds you from buying.
Reverse lights fully functional.

is the 5 spd swap fully obd2 compliant? No codes or nothing?

amp2345
03-25-2009, 05:48 PM
A transmission swap would not have any effect on the 0bd2 compliance. If you are referring to emissions i do not know as there are no emissions. There is a transmission comm code present. I do not see how it may have any effect on emissions, but i never had to deal with it so can not say for sure.
Currently running a 96 5spd ECU which needs a separate ground for the 02 so should have a dtc for that.

Its quite obvious you are not a serious buyer, otherwise you'd just get it touch some other way faster then a post reply.I have limited amount of replies... last one i think.

Phone for texting and PM button is in plain view please use it.

actually, it DOES matter. You obviously are not a serious seller if details such as a not specifying that this vehicle is not obd2 compliant. This is a strong selling point and must be made known to the public.

The fact is that many states require OBD2 inspection. Any thrown codes = automatic inspection fail - regardless if its is "emissions" related or not. A correct 5 speed conversion will yield no codes.

Sort of surprising that you living in Virginia, a state known for its strict inspection regulations, is not aware of this.

Makes me think what else is wrong with this car, or what other short cuts have been made.

Thanks but no thanks.

Also, *I* think others would like to see the Questions that a *potential* buyer (read that as a person with $$$ in hand but wants further information to solidify a decision) has so as to not be superfluous in the questions and help further in getting a sale to fruition (sp) if another also has cash in hand. Open forum Q&A benefits all.

As far as southern region of VA is concerned vehicle passes emissions. I can not answer out of state inspection questions, it is up to the buyer to figure it out once they obtain the vehicle. It is running a 1996 5spd ECM therefore has specified codes. If provided 97 auto ECM is installed, it will leave only auto trans dtc comm line.

If i wanted to conceal these things i'd pull the check engine light out and keep quiet, and 99.9% of people that look at the car would never know what hit them.

I did not provide the Auto Transmission Malfunction code because description did not state that a 5spd computer was used therefore it is a given that the code would be there. 9 of 10 people in this area will not care about it. If you do care then congratulations now that information is available for you and others to interpret. If you do not think its obvious then feel free to pat yourself on the back for asking the right question.

I do not know nor do i care what other state emission laws are. It is your responsibility. I provide info that you ask.I do not care if you think i am being honest or not, if you have a problem move on to next potential S14, there are plenty of other cars out there.

I agree. ZILVIA does not allow me to reply/bump to every little question people ask, that is why phone number and PM is there! Books, people who really have interest in the car and have the means to buy it will use the fastest most efficient way to get the info, a forum reply is not one of them.
EDIT: thank you for correction i am now on top of the rules and info. Still, i stand by the above sentence.
I take offense to people not following simple rules or request, wasting my time and not reading the description. I am not here to make friends, it is strictly business. I am not going to kiss ass and try to be polite just so that i wouldn't scare off a potential buyer. As far as i am concerned you're shopping for a car, not BFF. If you do not agree with it that is fine, please move on with your life. I will not waste my time creating a two page argument in a for sale post.

Thank you for the bumps and comments to those who had something good or constructive to say.:)

Price is still firm and not negotiable as i really want to keep the car but phoing my GS will sell before it so i can do so.

Reverse lights have been corrected and are now working, i am just waiting for last sat of the month to clean up AT lower harness and make it pretty, mainly remove unneeded ends.

Also i took care of the check engine light which was on because i am running a 96 MT ecu which had a different pin location for one of the emissions solenoid.
