Im currently doing my brake/5 lug conversion and I have a few questions. Im running brembo drilled/slotted rotors, R32 front calipers, and I know I have to run spacers to clear the caliper with 002's 16x8 +0.

My questions:
Is it better for me to run 5 lug hubs with extended studs, or should I buy the regular hubs and buy extended studs and press them in??? Is there really a difference??

This car will be tracked if that helps any.

Ive tried searching and pm'd a few people but couldnt find the answer. ANY positive input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Your question doesn't make any sense. Buying 5lug hubs with extended studs already in them and putting extended studs in your existing hubs is the same thing.

Try again. Say what you mean.

^yeah, please clarify. are you asking from a quality standpoint? like, "do ichiba hubs compare to oem?" or "what brand of stud is best?"

Sorry about the confusion. Yes, from a quality standpoint, is one better than the other???

Also I know the peak performace 5 hub conversions are twice as much as the ichiba ones....really worth the extra $$$$?

Ive read that already and does not answer my question.

OEM Hubs? Are you saying get S14 hugs and just add extended studs to those??

That wasn't there to answer your question, that was there to help you pick the right studs. But I'd prefer to use OEM hubs, and swap out the studs. There was a thread started just this week (wouldn't you know lol) where the OP said his Ichiba studs for his spacers blew up. I realize that you're not going to get spaces from them, but with a history of studs blowing up I wouldn't care what they were on... I'd find something else.

So even though Im gonna need spacers you say dont get the spacers with studs already in them, but get oem hubs, press in my own extended studs and run spacers with those?

There are different types of spacers, not to be confused with brands. That's pretty much what I'm saying. OEM 5 lug conversion, but what type of spacer you run is up to you. Do you even know what size spacer you need to use?

I actually have some spacers that my friend let me borrow. He had different sizes bout I found a pair that clears my calipers. I guess I need to measure the width of both of them together.
