First off, I am in Japan, not CA.

I have had these wheels for a little while now and they have never actually been put on my car. I am looking to sell them because i no longer have a need for them.

The person i bought them from had raced them on a circuit track and the melting rubber from the tires seemed to stick to the wheels in some areas and it appears as little black flecks. Most of the rubber flecks are on the inner barrel and don't take away from the look of the faces themselves. However, there are some flecks on the outer faces of the wheels also. I'm not going to lie, the rubber is difficult to get off but you may have more luck at it then i did...i didn't really try all that hard. With that said, the wheels still look pretty good IMO. You can get an idea of what I'm talking about from the pictures below.

Only one of the wheels has any curb rash on the face and that is also shown below.

I will be shipping via USPS Priority and the wheels will be insured. Buyer pays for all shipping costs. Shipping will be cheaper to the West Coast than it will be to the East Coast.

Asking price is $800 +shipping OBO

I apologize for the shitty lighting, the lights in my office suck

Shipping to Florida for those would probably run right around $120 for 5-7 day Priority or about $80 for 7-10 day Parcel Post.

What is the deal with the hole there??? Looks like it has a chunk missing?
Might just be me, but that doesn't look good. Not trying to hate.

These are very tempting.

i thought it was weird too, so i went and looked at a new set and they all have them. it is a perfect cut. it looks as if it was machined out when they were making the wheels. all four of them have it.

Priority is about $210

Parcel post is about $130

All PM's Replied!

and per request here are a few more photos. as you can see from some of them, the "holes" you guys are talking about were machined into the wheels. they dont effect the operation of them at all.

So I just looked at the back of my XD9s and they dont look like that.

Those wheels do not look road worthy to me with those sort of modifications.

thanks for your opinion, but i have already stated that the damn wheels came like that. all 4 of them have the SAME EXACT cuts in them, its not like some idiot went into his garage and did that with a dremel.

Just to clarify for everyone, that is normal. Here is an actual picture I just took of an actual out of the box 18x9+20 XD9 in Bronze:

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3469/3324588316_130ca34e66.jpg

Keep in mind that this is an 18x9+20 specifically. If you look at other sizing of XD9, the backpads are slightly different.

I am not vouching for the OP or his wheels since I am not the person selling them, but this is how they look fresh out of the box direct from WORK Wheels Japan.

Anything that comes out of the WORK Wheels Japan factory is tested and obviously roadworthy.
