Just got a 03 350Z and was wondering what exhaust would be best..
i like the N1 duals alot and it looks and sounds nice and the price is not so bad.
option 2 would be the Greddy SP2 which i also like...the sounds is good but dont really like the look of it.

also a decent website or place to purchse the exhaust...im in MD so i dont know if there is any local store stocking it so i can jus pick it up..

What you think ???

Try searching on my350z.com. I never put an exhaust on my 350, but from what I remember when I researched it hp gains are small and about the same between all the name brands. Search youtube for sound clips if you want to hear the differences in sound.

I have the HKS Hi Power True Dual Titanium on my 08 Z and I love it. It's one of the pricier ones, but it has an amazing sound while still keeping the VQ hum at the low rpm.

Personally, I really like the Nismo exhaust system. And my350z.com is good for getting good deals in the vendor section. Or thezstore.com is pretty nice too.

I was going to suggest just getting some N1-type mufflers and having a shop make you a catback with no resonators... until I saw this...

Holy shit. Canada has NEVER been so cool.

I need a N/A VQ in my life, NOW.

The Borla has a nice clean sound to it. Louder than stock but not too loud. Gets a little louder with test pipes but still clean not aggravating loud. I'm trying to sell my Borla right now.

Agree 100000%.

We had taken down the rear section on my friends Z to work on the bumper.

Sounds so awesome.

I love my friends Blitz Nur Spec.

Sounds great. Low-pro exhaust too. Makes it seem like stock.

Thats the one. Yes sandra is dead, they just parted her out a few months ago.

+1 for straight SGM Headers and straight pipes.

I have 3" single and cat deletes, thing sounds loud as fuck, like with a really loud harley motorcycle you can hear your exhaust echo off everything around you.
Im putting in a single turbo tho so it prolly will quiet down a little bit :( Open waste gate tho >:]

So, technically, he IS on a Z33 forum.

devonkyle77

true, but the number of z33 owners is exponentially larger on a forum like my350z.
i mean, to most 240 owners an exhaust without an exhaust leak is music to the ears....

I had an amuse on my G35 and was way to quite... I ended up doing a fast intentions true dual with test pipes and sounded good... but my roomie has a 350Z with the top speed pro-1 exhaust and it sounds amazing... best sounding exhaust for a Z and I have heard greddy and injen and nismo and of course my 2.....

sorry man, 2 differant cars 2 differant motors... he's asking about exhaust for a 350Z/G35...not a N/a KA 240sx.

it's like asking what exhaust someone should get for there supra and you say apexi cause it sounds good on my celica. 2 totally differant cars with there own unique sounds.

without reading any responses, so I apologize if you've decided already but.

INVIDIA. Expensive, but it creates quite possibly my favorite sounding exhaust note ever. Their site says it's a 21hp gain too, so that's cool. :p

It sounds like pure sex under load, like when pulling through gears.

HKS Dual Ti Hi-Power w/test pipes and headers. The best sounding exhaust setup ive had on a Z33. Very deep and mean sounding. No rasp and no drone.

best R&D and great customer service. The guy is an artist with his products.

I have a 350z with Berk high flow cats, Motordyne Y pipe, and a Borla midpipe + axle back (it sounds good but its only 2.5") I am going to replace the Borla rear bit with a single exhaust because they are lightweight and I like the look. Either a JIC single with a resonator or a custom one - maybe with an ASPEC muffler.

I also like the Greddy TI-C single.

PS: Best mod you can do is the Motordyne isothermal plenum spacer. Great gains throughout the powerband and its fairly cheap. Its next on my list!
