Ok so im back once again, but with another problem hahaha. Ok so my battery was bad to begin with and I went to start my car the other day and the battery was dying,... so it finally died, to the point where it would do anything when I turned the key, but all the lights would come on like it was normal. I changed out the battery with a good one and i did the same. Even my turbo timer read something like 12.5 volts. I tryed push starting it and it started right up... Is this just the starter?? or what?? And if anyone wants to help me this weekend.... FREE BEER, BOOSE OR FOOD!! Let me know. Im located in Tierrasanta San Diego Ca

is that 12.5 reading when the car is started or not started?

It should be around 14 when the car is started.

either a bad starter or short/open from your ignition to your starter, do you hear any noise whatsoever when you turn the key over? could be a bad starter solenoid, anywho, replace the starter since im sure you can find one cheap then go from there

Not started... when I turn the key and nothing happens it drops down to about 11.8....

If it was battery I don't think you'd get anything..no lights no no nothing. But by pushing starting..any one step in if I'm wrong, but I think your bypassing the solenoid on the starter. Your doing it manually rather than by electricity. Also before my starter went out..I use to have a loud high humming noise b4 start ups. Then when I replaced it..never heard the noise again, and I'm positive it wasn't belts either. If you try cranking the car and here no sound from the starter..my guess is starter.

Good luck
