Have dinner with any 4 people that have ever lived at your favorite restaurant. Meaning... alive or dead. Imagine they could all speak your language, I mean most of the people you pick will probably be dead so they probably picked some English up slumming it in the afterlife with some English speaking people.

Who would they be? At the end summarize why.

-Michio Kaku
-George Romero
-Socrates
-Thomas Jefferson

I feel this would be a pretty well rounded discussion table. Michio Kaku would just thoroughly blow my mind with all of his insight into physics and such. George Romero because he is my favorite filmmaker and is very political and socially savvy. Socrates and Jefferson because I would love to pick the brain and compare all of our philosophical ideas that time and geography have bestowed upon us. Plus, Jefferson would probably light up in the bathroom before dessert.

(BustedS13 and s0apgun would be the waiters)

In this order of importance:

My grandfather Melbourne Howard Russell Sr
BRUCE LEE
Jay-Z
Emeril Lagasse

My grandfather because I never got to sit down as an adult with him and chew the fat. I knew him well as a child, but knowing a man as an adult is completely different. He's still one of my most important figures in my life.

Bruce Lee. I can't believe no one else has mentioned him. I'd love to just sit there and listen to him speak. His life was so deep and SO important. I'd want to hear what he thinks of MMA.

Jay-Z has been someone I've idolized for a long time. I've watched his career go from nothing to become the greatest success in hip hop history. What he's accomplished over the last 13 years is nothing short of spectacular and I'd love to take anything away from a sit down experience with him.

Emeril Legasse because the guy is just cool. He values family and food. He's a great inspiration.

And where would be at any of his restaurants as long as he's cooking.

John Belushi - Isn't much of a conversationalist but has one hell of a presence.

Chris Farley - I want someone there who nerds out over Belushi more than I do.

Audrey Tautou - To let the sparks fly.

Abraham Lincoln - Dude's a rockstar and a legend. Everybody knows that.

I could list hundreds more, but that would be a pretty solid night.

I would want to have a nice casual 'breakfast w/ blunts' on a boat in the caribbean with:
My Grandpa, just to see what he was like.
My homie Sean, who died recently.
John Lennon, so he could aid to guide my spiritual path in a positive way through insightful wisom and song.
And Owen Wilson just because he would keep the conversation rolling in a very comfortable and progressing fashion.

And there would be strippers, I would definately buy strippers for this occasion.

I'd have dinner with 4 clones of myself.

One would be piss drunk, one would be stoned out of his mind, one would be half asleep, and the last one would be tripping on mushrooms.

That'd make for one hell of an interesting dinner, being that I'm the most interesting person I've ever known. lol

Or, alternatively, 4 of myself, but all different ages.
Myself at 8 years old, myself at 16, ME (23), myself at 40, and myself at 75.
That could be cool.

This.

My moms been watching a ton of old home videos so I recently have been thinking about how when I was a little kid I have no recollection what kind of person I was (compared to how I am now), or what was going through my head besides the primal thoughts.

I would love to ask my younger selfs what the hell is goin on in their little brains.

Les Paul - musician and recording pioneer. he invented the electric guitar and multi-track recording. the world's music industry would not be what it is today without those contributions. it would be interesting to hear his opinion of today's music industry as well as pick his brain for any tips/tricks to playing guitar.

Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - late great Hawaiian uke player best known for his angelic voice on his "Somewhere over the rainbow/What a wonderful world" medley. he would just bring an overall feel good vibe to the place.

Slash - Poster boy for the Gibson Les Paul guitar. He can bring the whiskey.

Bob Marley - would love to be in his presence and hear him get all spiritual about any subject. he'd bring the spliffs.

not so much dinner, as just an informal jam session/bbq at the beach with these people.
i hope to get as much advice and insights as to life's meaning and purpose from them.
and also ask them what it took for them personally to keep pushing forward to success.

As great as Les was, he didn't invent the electric guitar. Electric guitars were created in the early 30's. Rickenbacker built tungsten steel pickups for hollow bodied acoustic guitars.

Les developed a solid bodied electric guitar.

Don't mind my minor corrections. 4.0GPA. Music major. Guitar master. It's a me. Jimmy.
