1991 RX-7 Convertible
S5 TII swap (blown apex seal)
Clean Title
~160,000
Selling due to blown motor and I don’t have the time or money to rebuild until I finish school. So instead of owning an expensive paperweight that takes up parking, I am going to try and sell it.
The good: suspension wise the car is very solid, it was been driven at a number of events and holds up great. The motor was recently rebuilt about 2000 miles ago, has brand new rotor housings, runs cool with the large radiator and cooling panels in place. Custom roll bar allows the top to still function, the top still operates electronically and does not leak. Was not daily driven. Have dyno plots with about 300 rwhp before the apex seal took a crap. Still has working A/C and power steering!
The bad: Blown apex seal due to overboost, however it may be possible to limp the car somewhere if necessary. Body kit is not in perfect condition from track use. The passenger door has a crinkle on the edge. Overall the body is not in show condition since it was a track car.
