I have a Parts Shop MAX radiator that was installed over the summer (of '08, purchased in '07 I believe). It has less than 1k miles on it now.

I just started having an issue of my radiator fans not turning on. I checked everything there, and it was fine. But what I did find out was a little weird: Only half of my radiator is getting hot. The side where my fan controller's temp probe is, is cold. The prob itself isn't even getting above ambient temperature.

Is the radiator clogged/screwed? It worked fine in the summer, but that could be due to the heat distributing a bit better due to ambient temps being higher.

Sounds like what happened to me.. Make sure your Thermo switch and probe is working first.

Yea, the sensor and everything work fine. Tried it with some hot water.

You may have the sensor on the wrong side of the rad. Make sure to double check the instructions for where the sensor should be placed, that is if there are instructions.

I highly doubt its the sensor. Half of my radiator is cold, despite my temp being 90*C. Moving the sensor would just be a bandaid.

I'm going to try flushing the rad. If that fails, I'm gonna try blasting it out with my air compressor. The car hadnt been started in awhile, so maybe some sort of deposit built up.
