so my rad. fan blew up today.....

I was driving home today and I heard what sounded like 10 cats fighting under my hood.... Pop the hood.....look inside and noticed my fan is gone......right off of the fan clutch!!!! I would post pics.. but theres nothing left and the shroud has nice skylights in it now...heheh what a day...... I think its time for an SR....

i guess its a good thing it happened, everyone should have an SR. I've never heard of that happening before.

It's cheaper than getting a new clutch fan! :)

Im just stuck between a rock and a hard place...I freekin bought the car for $200 with a blown motor... bought a new (USED UP) motor so I could smog it....didnt pass smog till $100 bucks later.... tires were bad...replaced those...find out rims are some what bent... fix radiator..... fan breaks..... Just feel a pattern goin on....damn... Im not in to the drift thing...too much but I like more power than I need in a car.... so I think an sr might be in my future....
total cost of my 240sx project todate is....$500 bucks!!! thats including registration and smog..... so another 2000 for a motor might not be so bad.....
better than trying to catch up with the snowball effect motor that I have...... damn snowballs.... only good for throwing away....just like my motor ...ARRRGHHHH!!!!

Ummm sorry, i can't really relate this ****. So basicly you plastic fan screwed up, now you are throwing out the engine? Sorry makes 0 sense to me.

well if youve seen my car and my motor you would know that this motor is only problematic and I have bigger plans for the engine bay anyway...so what I mean is I need more power and Im gonna throw the boat achor out.....BTW for all ka lovers out there Im not dissing the ka by any means.....its just not what I want... Now im playing with the RB Idea.....fabrication doesnt scare me is Ive done my share of V8 swaps....mostly in old cars (1940 ford-chevy small block, 51 ford panel-small block ford...etc) and the principles apply..... Just wiring and parts avail. is the key....to the decision... Blah Blah Blah....Im sick of this thread......its going no where.....
