ok, so i recently did a silvia conversion on my s13 coupe and i had a question about water/rain getting to my wires that hook up to my headlights/corner lights.

so, my question, is there a way to prevent water/rain from getting into these areas? is there a panel i can buy to cover? in Import Tuner i seen the green silvia s13 with that area covered but it looked like it was fabricated. how do you guys wash your car without the wires getting wet? lol
sorry if this sounds dumb but thanks! :D

Your car is not water tight. Stuff gets wet. No big deal.
What do you think happened when the water ran down your hood and dripped in around your pop-ups?
The wiring for the corner lights could have been done a little cleaner, with some heat shrink.
Relax, you're fine.

should have some sort of like rubber/foam under the front part of your hood, unless im thinking of another car.
but anyways. not a big deal but get rid of some of that rust :X

It doesn't really matter if they're exposed or not.. you have a hood over it
I'm sure you're looking for something like this (http://passwordjdm.com/PasswordJDM-Aluminum-Cooling-Plate-S13-P1526C296.aspx).

but what about the water that runs in between the gap of the fender to hood? the water "water falls" right into the plug/socket areas.
ohh okay yeah that looks like it, but this is what i was reffering to:

i guess i am a bit overreacting lol.

Since you already wired it like that, just sleeve it and black tape that mess.

Are you a moron, or just that ignorant? How is water supposed to be a problem to wiring? It's covered. All the plugs are sealed. All the sockets are sealed. Even if none of that was true, it's water. You bathe in it daily. There's nothing under the hood anywhere that can be damaged by water unless it's an electronic device, and even then that's only if it's not sealed. Bulb sockets, especially incandescent bulbs, could care less about water. How do you think boat trailer lights work when they're submerged?
BTW, that is the shittiest light wiring job I've ever seen. Fuck worrying about water, I'd be weary of fire with that rat's nest.
