Im looking at a 2jz 240 and looking at making no more then 850whp. Will a q45 swap hold that much power reliabliy?

why would you want that kind of power in a 240sx?

yes it should, it is an R230 diferential after all. should hold nicely. there is an entire write up on FA. on the mods to swap it in. and all the parts needed

yea,

the guy who did the swap have "accordin to him" a 700+whp RB26 S14....

on what i've seen he hase a "LAG monster from hell" that made NO POWER (less then 250whp) from ZERO rpm's until 5700rpms.....

damn talk about lag...

Any way it will hold....

Ali

It's actually still an R200V. It has the same output shafts and bolt pattern as the R230, but internally it still only has a 200mm Ring & Pinion. It is definitely an upgrade over the J30/S14/Z32 R200s, but a 200 nonetheless.
