help with MBC

PO hooked up a MBC ebay styles. but doesnt control boost. two lines are coming off of it as seen in my drawing. any ideas on why its not working, dont tell me to get a EBC because i have no money. thanks for the help and ideas!

There are a few ways to hook them up and that is one of them. all you are doing is restricting the flow of vacuum to the actuator. switch the lines and try it again. sometimes the arrow is pointed in the wrong dirction.
