View Full Version : Wrong strut or wrong spindle?

K, so I'm taking my blown coils off so I can pass inspection but I ran into a snag.
I'm either trying to put on an S14 strut on an S13 spindle or vice versa.
Help me out.

looks like the right one to me
u gotta put some pressure on the spindle to line up the mounting holes

they are nearly identical.
The s14 strut will have larger bolt holes than the s13.
Form the pic it looks like the right one.
You just need to jack up the knuckle until it aligns with the strut.

fits fine on the cusco. im just afraid to push the spindle down. i feel like im gonna break the LCA off or something

Hah. I got it guys. I just forgot to take the sway bar endlink off. Thanks for the help.

Just take the coilover off the other side. The sway bar is holding the arm up.

Good thing I'm not a mechanic. :P
I just wasn't sure because I didn't build the car. Only swapped the motor.
