Sorry to rehash this topic again, but believe me when i say that i have been searching for three hours...on zilvia and google for this picture.

It is candy/electric blue and has meash wheels i think. I have seen a few pictures of it, but i think the old links have been changed or something?????

Please help me out on this, i need to convince my mom as to why i should do this conversion, and this picture sums it up. For my birthday she said if this conversion looks good enough she will give me $500 toward this, and i should have the rest in a few months....please help me!

thanks,
-DbD-

You're lucky your parents are helping out... My parents didn't give me a penny for my SR swap and I must say that it makes me appreciate much more the value of my swap.

I agree. I financed my swap straight out of my pocket. Paid cash for everything (saved up for a down payment on a WRX then decided to trick the 240)

No hating here! I just said the guy was lucky that his parents were into this. My parents would kill me if they knew how much I invested in my 240sx. ;)

trust me saving up $2500 of my own money is enough to appreciate this front end conversion.

I am still trying to find out who i will buy the parts from, but i still have quite a while (probobly by the end of september).

What is you guys opinions on the matter...
should i get metal conversion fenders or go with fiberglass?

metal will be more durable, but fiberglass will be lighter and might fit better!

thanks again for your help Halo!

EDIT: Oh wait one more request. If you are good enough with photoshop, then please superimpose this Target front bumper on the s15/180sx above. thanks

or if you have a better picture of Signal's S15 then please poste it. This is ultimately what i want my car to look like S15 fron end conversion, Target S15 front bumper, fastback rear end, type X spoiler, kouki 180sx tail light conversion, and i haven't decided on the side skirts nor the rear bumper! Opinions are welcome. Oh yeah, i know this is going bo be expensive as hell and all of my friends are trying to talk me out of it (why don't you just buy a new car, buy a bike with that money) ahh fuk um I love my 240!

Fiberglass fenders are lighter and will never rust while metal fenders may rust over time..

See with www.autoimaging.com . I know they sell some kits. And it's good that you saved up so money, like I said, it makes you appreciate a lot more your conversion.

Good luck with it and keep us posted! :)
