Anyone have any trouble with there sr20det using the stock wastegate and the avcr. I have setting a set at 1.1 bar on a hybrid t25/t28 turbo with the stock wastegate that has been shimmed (washers between wastegate and housing). setting b which is .75 bar holds fine and the self learing mode has kicked in and works great. The 1.1 bar setting a works until the rpms start goni past 5500 and then the boost strarts to drop off to like 12.5 psi, instead of holding 15.9 steady? any i deas

turn off self leard mode in first and second gear.

adjust duty cycle a little higher.

Some times you can keep making passes and self learn will correct. But it's been my experience that all that fuzzy logic is crap. I hold boost better with self mode turned off than on.

I'd give ya some more advice but I'm a little rusty on tuning my avc-r. After I got it the way I wanted to I haven't touched it in 4 month's:D I don't even remember what the menu's are!

Also google "avc-r tips". The supra and rotary guys have a lot of good input tuning that sucker.

If you are spiking I you should lower the duty cycle a few percent it is too high. Do some pulls and if your boost seems to be under your desired boost setting bump the duty cylce up 1 to 2 percent until you reach it. Thank you.
