Tranny differences

Are there any differences in the KA's tranny's over the years? Does the single cam motor use the same tranny as a dual cam motor? are the gear ratios different in any years?

gear ratios are all the same

SOHC transmission has no 4th gear sensor

Thanks, but will a KA24DE work fine with a KA24E's tranny? Even under boost?

it is the exact same transmission. The only thing different is the speed sensors in the S14 KA 5 speed Vs the The S13 KA 5 speed. in a nutshell same trans different speed sensors.
