Oh yes, Oktober-Fest in Germany is something everyone should experience once before they die.

Lived there for a while. Went to octoberfest, etc.

One time I went to a winter festival with my mom and we were walking around getting drunk. Well we decided to get some gluvine, well she decided she didnt want any more and poured the rest down a sewer drain, right infront of 30 astounded and pissed looking germans. lol
I thought I was going to get my ass beat, some old lady even walked up and started yelling at us. lol.

That shit is a crime in Germany. Never waste any alcohol, especially gluvine. That shit is so tastey. I still make some at my house from time to time. Put it in the coffee pot to warm it up a little. It'll get you drunk as dave would say

Glu-wein is just like english mulled-wine iirc. In scandinavia, it's aka as Glogg.
You can essentially make that stuff at home. It's best served very hot.
Buy some cheap wine, simmer it in a pot with spices and fruits.
great stuff for the winter, esp christmas.
I had no idea they mass produced it, but I can't imagine its better than a home-made recipe.

I lived in Hohenfels from 93-95 my dad was stationed there. I was only 9 or 10 at the time but it was pretty cool, my pops and I went to oktoberfest, seen the berlin wall, seen some concentration camps and stuff. Thing I remember the most though is the autobahn, my dad had an old RX-7 (FB i think) and we hit 110-115mph a couple times. Pretty fast for that small car.

Oh yeah, too much of a good thing and you'll regret it in the morning. Even though it's so good when you're drinking it:hahano:

From talking to other people around here, there are no shops catering to the S chassis in Germany.

Also, working on cars is expensive in Germany.

IF you find a place that's willing to put a cage in your car be prepared to pay out the ass for it.

yeah that's what I hear. Im planning on just buying a cusco cage, but was looking for a local shop that might not kill me on shipping.

Nah I didn't see any shops when I was there, I bet there are some in the bigger towns though. Best bet is to probably ask some of the Germans that work on base.

Could also ask that used car dealer that is right outside the gate... Guys name is Otto or something I think.
